How easy is it to get a govt job and do u have to be a citizen to get it? Can you tell us more about it.
maternal:
But now I'm back east as I've secure a federal gov't job. That was the only way I was going to return. They're investing billions in downtown Edmonton on a revitalization project, so a lot of construction jobs are available. Also public safety jobs are plenty, such as the Edmonton police and correction Alberta are recruiting heavily. As a police in 3 years you'd be making 92k dollars per year easily, or as a correctional worker 70k dollars easily. Never seen a naija person regret coming out west. Check the links below.

Hello Everyone,

Good news! Good news!! Good news!!!

On 5th August 2017, someone assisted the newbies by summarizing the first part of this thread.

He read the whole thread, summarized and posted FAQs to assist the Newbies.

He is one of the most helpful guys on this thread. He assisted many people even before he dived into the pool.

I agree!

This looks like a good link for those who wanna go the PNP route to start out with http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/provincial/apply-who.asp

I'm of the opinion there really should be a different thread for PNP. It only makes sense. Most of the conversations here don't serve the purpose of those who wanna go the PNP route. PNP guys probably need to continue to push so the mods can finally listen.

Something seriously has to be done about this OOU transcript issue. Their fee for the transcript is one of the highest yet it is so problematic.
