Post ITA so you can put the name there. No worries at all

@ebho Wow, Amazing. Congratulations
cochtrane:
Is this pre- or post-ITA? I have only filled pre-ITA. I don't think I saw that there.
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program Connect Here by yokus(f): 9:58pm On Aug 16, 2017
I dont think it is a problem bro, but i hope you put the name in the space where they asked if you have been refererred to by any other name.
cochtrane:
Thanks. Actually thinking of a LOE already. Was just wondering if anyone had same situation.

Request for a CERTIFIED TRUE COPY (CTC) @ the Registry. Dont say replacement or a new one ask for a CTC of the stolen one.

quote author=Cannybabe post=59419336]

Thanks for responding, yes, the police report lists the marriage certificate as one of the missing documents, that was why I thought about including in it in the first place. Maybe I will try harder with both the church and registry and see where that gets me before concluding on what to do.
Thanks again
Please under personal history, should I write 'Child Birth' as reason for travel when I went to have my baby in the US or should I indicate tourism?
I put vacation and medicals.

My Daughter's eyes were closed in her Nigerian passport too.
Same Atlanta embassy- we have never had issues using the PP
Canadianfly:
Really @ the bolded?

My last child's eyes were closed coz she refused to wake up whatever we did and they took it like that at the Nigerian Embassy in Atlanta. We flew with it back to naija and immigration didn't have a problem with it. They say for babies this is understandable. Because I was worried if they will let us return to naija with closed eyes on the data page.

Say what? They are jokers.
Dammiehar:
It is very sad indeed. It was my Masters degree that saved me from those people. When I was trying to secure admission for that Masters years ago I saw hell, I kept bribing and bribing before they sent transcripts. My brother-in-law paid 50k for that transcript early this year, I think around February and after collecting the money, they told him he has outstanding courses that he has to sit for. Can you believe that? Someone that graduated years ago, has his certificate that was issued by OOU and went for NYSC. I still don't get it till now.
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program Connect Here by yokus(f): 9:42pm On Aug 09, 2017
But this is sad o. My friend was still saying she has to go to OOU to process the transcript thingy. What im reading is quite disheartening, dont even know what to tell her.
She has no choice, she doesn't have Masters, just LLB
Dammiehar:
OOUhuh He will not get the ECA in 2017, he should just listen to all this advice you people are giving him oh.

Great info. Thank you. We expect more feedback ad you promised. This helps

folamingo:
I called the Accra Visa Office and I was informed to send only the bio data page of the US passport (Which I did in colour) and not to send the physical passport as they are not stamping it or affixing a visa as a visa exempt country. They said they will attach the COPR letter to the photocopy.

Kindly note I used the US passport ONLY during application.

I sent package yesterday, so I will give a feedback when the entire process has been completed.
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program Connect Here by yokus(f): 6:43am On Aug 08, 2017
Oh ok- enlightening- thanks. Like someone pointed out earlier , i dont think there is any up or down side, use the passport used for medicals.

bigfido:
I don't think it really matters. The visa is not useful again once you land. You will start using your pr card to get into the country afterwards. I think Nigerian passport is better because you don't have to start explaining how you are a citizen of somewhere residing somewhere. My thoughts thou

I believe either the USA passport or the Nigerian Passport can be submitted. I intend to submit the USA Passports because the kids will probably use that more for travelling that doesn't include Nigeria.

deeore:
I have a question on this matter... My sons nigerian passport has a typo with is name.. Instead of Abdul it has Abdbul... I raised loe explaining the typo... But my concern is if i send the naija passport.. Would the copr not carry the error? Cant the us passport be used?

I strongly doubt that an application will be cancelled for selecting employment instead of govt.

The big question now is... will an application be cancelled for selecting employment instead of government in this situation.

Most of ny duties fell under NOC 1111

DBA4show:
In my own opinion I think its best to use Government, because for NOC code 1228 (Immigration & Revenue officers), employees under this category are usually employed by the Government.
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program Connect Here by yokus(f): 10:12pm On Aug 01, 2017
I did that the first time in the rejected app bro and i know about two pple that did that recently, though they submitted recently but no need to sweat it. All will be well. If i have seen anything at all, it is that govt workers get delayed for extra check. It is still confusing and i really am not sure if public servants should actually be under Government... it is a grey area

Selected employment cos i thought public service is different from civil service. I hope it does not affect my application tho.
