Is the federal ministry of health doing enough in the area of educating the people of d rural areas(who are mostly uneducated and where the disease have a high rate of occurrence)? Say what u may of Dr. Goodluck Jonathan, Rotimi Amaechi and Tunde Fashola but those three people battled Ebola to a standstill in Nigeria..... Not forgetting Dr. Adedevoh(May you continue to rest in peace) Please remove Jonathan from that list. What exactly did he do to fight EBOLA? Fashola and Dr Adedevoh were the real heros abeg. That accident is not a bad thing in the eyes of God, in fact the person might be a better person than you. If the purpose of believing in God is to make heaven, you wouldn't be bothered by anything humans referred to as ‘negatives'. I have my bible upside down and you didn't understand what I wrote. I said "bad on the surface". |

Had similar experience in around March 2015. Was told to see a doctor as I was not coping with the death of my ex,went to buy to withdraw cash. Conductor told me he had no change ( is money was 50 naira and I had 1k with me ). He was rude with it and I wanted to show him. I refused to come down.
Then my phone rang and it was an important call from a BBC journalist who I was running a program with. I needed to text him and discovered I had no credit on my phone. Got down to buy card ( the bus wasn't full ) before I got back, someone already to my place and I was never going to seat any where other than the front.
20 minutes later, I saw the car had a crash with the person in front losing his legs ( which would have been me if not for GOD and the call ).
GOD has a way of saving his people. And everything ( whether bad on the surface ) works for good for those who love GOD. |

People even write in pidgin English which is not correct English should they also ban that? Whats sauce for the goose, should be sauce for the gander don't you think? If a rule will not be enforced, it should not be made. RULE 21 is clear on this. |

He was just explaining how 300k was deducted from his account and he ended up withdrawing the rest 700k he had with the bank then sued the bank. Nothing of concern Nothing of concern? How do you mean? On a public forum? Does it mean Seun, mynd44 and co have one set of laws for certain people and another set for other sets of people? Laws are laws. This thread breaks the laws of this forum but shamefully the mods allowed it. |

By the way, there is absolutely nothing wrong in what the OP said. Everything he said is normal and important. It does not have anythin bad in it. So, be not afraid! Correct English or in English bottomline is, English. Is this thread written in English? |

Seun, mynd44 and the other moderators create laws but are selective in the enforcement of same.
How can this thread but be allowed when one of your own rules clearly stated we should write in correct English.
Later I will be banned for dare questioning Seun and the mods. Makes no sense - truth has to be said. |

Politics › Re: Suspected Pipeline Bombers Arrested By The Soldiers In Niger Delta by yommys01(m): 7:47am On Jan 19, 2016 |
They should be charged for treason. Seems the government think it is only treason when you take arms against the state.
Anything that affects the general wellness of the nation even economically is a treasonable offense.
Bombing the pipelines is as good as taking arms against the state. |

I think you should see a doctor. I am having the same issue ( bar the sex issue ) mine is as a result of too many dramas ( like losing 2 girlfriends, one was a day away frm been fiancee ) in the spaces of 4 years, a family member trying to take my life, friend betraying me and so on.
The depression ( I was very suicidal ) started reducing when we found the root cause and I FORGAVE. Forgiveness could be key here.
Did anything/anyone triggered the depression at the start? Can you think back? Mine was triggered by 2 deaths ( which was no fault of mine but managed to blamed on myself ) plus the behaviour of others.
Locate the root cause, forgive people and with time you will be fine. Talk to that guy too. He could be helpful.
Most importantly, note that a setback is a setup for a comeback. And GOD doesn't give us what we can't bear, he always makes a way of an escape for all temptation. |

Politics › Re: Fall Of Naira, Economy: Blame Jonathan, Says APC - Vanguard by yommys01(m): 8:30am On Jan 18, 2016 |
PassingShot: It's unfortunate that we just have to look back given the present situation of our economy. The situation has been brought about by GEJ's failure to save during windfall from oil sale of average of $100 a barrel. He instead reduced foreign account fromm $44bn in 2011 to $29bn in 2015. The question is, what did he do with the $15bn difference and the excess dollars earned in that period?
Can any supporter of GEJ sincerely answer that what he 'achieved' commensurates with what we earned?
The hardship of today is a result of poor decisions of years past.
I don't envy PMB and his team at all. They inherited a hemorrhaging economy at a time oil price is crashing on daily basis. |

fitzmayowa: What the present administration can do is to turn things around, remember they campaigned on the slogan of "CHANGE" and nigerians bought in to it...
Are we going to applaud them(APC) for under-performance because PDP messed up Are we going to continue to cheer them on when all they do is blame GEJ/PDP all the time To rule a country like nigeria is not easy and they already knew what they were coming into, this is not the time to start throwing blames, because throwing blames won't solve a thing....
Its 8 months into APC's government, we are getting tired of the blame games already...SMH Have they said they won't turn things around? Do you expect it to be done within 8 months when it took PDP 16 years to get us into this mess in the first place? We should stop expecting a miracle. It will take some time before things get normal again. |

asuustrike2009: shouldn't the EPL rights be given to numerous pay tv? It is winner takes it all bro. I honestly believe Star times will give DSTV a good run for their money during the next round of bidding. I forsee what happened to Sky and BEIN Sports happening here too. DSTV to retain the lion share but Star times to get a good churn of the share. |

cktheluckyman: Oil price fell from 120 to N50 under GEJ yet the naira never went above N200 during GEJ 's regime, in barely seven months, the Nepa Bill certificate holder have shut down our currency to exchange for N305 to a dollar!! A government with no economic direction and an incompetent finance minister!! Simply because GEJ administration were using the foreign reserve to support the naira.
