PeaceLovJoy:

If you are moving your family, consider English speaking countries first. Your wife will frustrate you if she lands in an area she needs interpreter. The education of your kids will suffer too. No matter how juicy the nation is, watch before you leap.

England is not a bad option. In fact, it is one of the best out there, but the question is: what kind of visa are you using? Your main challenge is that you want to move with your whole family. It is not easy, except you are moving into the nation with a permit to work, or residency. No matter how the nation is great, if you are not qualified to work legally, you will face challenges. And when you start having problems there with your kids involved will make you lose it faster. If it's only you, it is still fine. But with your wife and children there, it will not be funny if you have challenges. Therefore make sure any means you want to leave with, you have permit to work and you can even good money. Even it is better to go to a non English country where you can work legally than to go Canada or US and be hustling illegally.

If you decide not to leave with your family, look at its effect on your marriage. Do not go there and then you marry another woman and abandon your wife. It is not good. Or you deceive another woman there donyou can bring in your family. It is bad.

Sure, both help. I am even happy you habe a house here. Do not sell it bro. Keep it. It is your main.property you.will fall on when you.return. Do not listen to anyone who advises you to sell it. If you make the mistake, you willl regret it for the rest of your life. Even while abroad and uou are facing challenges, dont ever sell it. Just remove your eyes from it. Dont ever sell that house I repeat.

If you.see that education is a main challenge, you can enrol for online classes, and still continue in Nigeria.

What people in your shoe do is that the man goes first to check. You cannot just move your entire family if you do not have a work permit in the place you are going. Live there for a few months to know the ins and outs of the place. If good, let them join you. If not good return to what you have in Nigeria. Like I wrote above, dont go alone and abandon your wife, or deceive another woman there.

Consider other routes. Someone gave you the option of having a baby in another nation up there. Just look well before you leap. Brazil does not have an outstanding economy so I do not know much. They are talking about Mexico when Mexicans are trying to enter the US. Think about Trump's wall.

Goodluck!
Thanks for this solid advise. Really appreciate.

aremuforlife:
I hope there will be lasting solution to the increment in crude oil refining and transportation after dangote refinery commence production.

A review of the pricing template showed the average price per ton of the commodity at about $561.96, or N169.22 per litre, while the average freight rate coat (North-West Europe to West Africa) of about $21.63 per ton, or N6.51 per litre

Above is where the increment is coming from, except if we are demanding for the return of subsidy , there is not the government can do, else, there will be scarcity of PMS
How come the price of the commodity didn't crash when price was at it lowest at the world market?

I am a big fan of Buhari but he actions and inaction is surely against this nation. It is becoming very pathetic.

I have an option of adult adoption, I have a mother figure friend who I saved from the hand of yahoo boys who is willing to adopt me but I must be in Europe for 2 years minimum.

I didn't consider this offer since 2012 but frustrating with Internet, getting rejected for jobs I can do due to being in Nigeria and constant push from my wife, pastor and virtually everyone around me is forcing my hand. And I certainly intend to go back to school there too.
Travel / Advise Needed To Move Europe Or North America by yommys01(m): 3:17pm On Mar 05, 2021
Hi all, I have been thinking hard and long about leaving this country and need advise.

I earn between $2000-$5000 per month on average but getting fed up with having much and achieving nothing. Had job offers recently but because of my lack of University education and the fact that I am in Nigeria put paid to those jobs ( left school at SS1 but wrote SSCE recently and passed ).

I am married with three kids.

My question is

1. If I was to move to any of the following countries - Ireland, Canada, Norway, Australia, Spain, Denmark, Finland with my whole family how much do I need to have in my bank account.

2. If one of my employers ( currently the head of SEO for an English company ( though I really don't want England but will consider it ) is really to help process visa will I be able to move my family at once ( I won't move unless we all move as I won't want to cheat and I don't trust my self that much ).

3. Does having a house here in Nigeria or a business, thriving business help with visa application?

Will appreciate replies.

My people have spoken.

Peace.
Wrong. Women don't love than men. There are some but it is extremely rare and it is why the Bible says they should respect us and we should love them.

I am married for 5 years but I know within me that I love her more. It is the way it is. What women show as love is respect for your person and the man sees it as love.

MeghaneMorgane:
Hi,
Please I recently created this account to avoid people knowing me as I am an active member.

Now I met a handsome young man through a professional group chat. One time I posted a message on the group, he went to check my dp and sent me a message afterwards. He is in his 30s and I'm in my 20s He asked me if I was married, I said no. I asked the same question he said no, and then he started to show so much interest in me. He went straight to the point about wanting something serious and wanting to know me better. We chatted for some days exchanged pictures and then I proposed we meet in person. Like joke, in less than a week of chatting the guy is coming to my city to see me.

I'm now beginning to realise that maybe this guy is not joking. Because of how serious he is, I am beginning to like him. I didn't read any meaning to our conversations when it initially started but now, it is like I'm falling head over heels for him. I'm trying to restrain not to show him that I like him too much so that he will not come and take me for granted. I am not being difficult but I'm just being cautious. But the problem now is that it is getting harder and harder to restrain myself by the day. Please I need advise on how not to show this guy that I like him too much.

PS: Please nobody should insult me. Just advice me. Thanks.
Almost how I married my wife. I zoomed picture on Facebook, after talking for a month over the phone we met in person. One year later we got married.

Out third daughter arrived last November.

Don't be afraid. Trying is worth it especially if you are sure of what you feel.

Real recognize real.

So I guess na only Lalasticlala go fit ID the snake well. E get one of my guys that year in JSS1 called Eddy. He was a strong brown skin boy who never backs away from any snake or scorpion found in the dormitory.

Eddy killed so much snakes and scorpions we nicknamed him Eddy The Scorpion Killer.

One fateful day, during our weekly Thursday 'manual labor' news made rounds that Eddy had been stung by a black scorpion and was rushed to the Sick Bay.

As if that wasn't enof later the same day around evening time, another shocking news swept over the entire blocks of dorms in school...

... and it was about Eddy.

The Scorpion Killer has been bitten by a snake this time. He survived both incidents. We had no choice but to comot the 'Scorpion Killer' from his nickname because e be like the snakes and scorpions been dey plan revenge

So I guess it's one day for the Snake Killer. Another for the snake wink
Reminds me of when I was small around 1995 in my village in Benin Republic. My cousin used to steal my money and since I sabi catch snakes and scorpions I picked one scorpion and put it inside my safe.

Na so I go watch gelede ( some sort of masquerade in yoruba land ) and needed money ran home forgetting I already put scorpion in the sack, na so I put hand oo... You know what happened next.

My grandpa ( of blessed memory ) laughed so much that I almost got angry before they pierced it and removed the venom for me - leaving ever lasting mark.

Yesterday, i went to wrote my jamb at kaduna polytechnic by 9:30am but unfortunately i was not able to write till 2:30pm. We were asked to form a que so that they can be able to search us.
As we entered the exam hall, we all sat down without following our sit number. We began the exam by 3:10pm and we were told that it will only last for 2hrs 45min.
I begin my exam with english language because i am really good at english. Suprisingly, my system shut down. I called the attention of the exam invigilators, so the system was switched on and i continued my exam.
However, i finished all my exam before time so i was able to cross check well. After that i summited my exam and went back home.
By 9:30pm when i was about to sleep, i just saw an inbox on my phone, sent from jamb, firstly i don't want to read the text at that time. But my mind will be on the text if i don't read it. As a man i just open the text, seeing your jamb 2016 UTME result is 307. I was so much excited.
So for those who are yet to write their jamb should please read harder because it is not easy
And you had 307? The bold part though. Went to wrote??

See you sef know what the issue is. Just be patient with her she will be fine.

Being a mum for the first time is such a daunting prospect. I don't think i had ever carried a new born baby less than a week old before I had mine and even carrying the baby was a terrifying prospect. embarassed My mum could not even come to help as we had just lost my dad and I remember how much I used to cry thinking 'how will I, me, me deal with a new born' sad Hubby's mum is late and comes from all these proper 'DIY' families.

What helped was my hubby re assuring me that we would be fine and loads of orphans had actually had children you know cheesy And we were fine. He took some time off work and that time was such a great bonding time for us as we navigated the unknown waters of being a first time parent together. He even got the courage to bath the baby before me sef as I kept thinking I would drop her cheesy

You guys will be ok don't worry. Just keep reassuring her and all will be well.
Thanks. She now feels okay and is sleeping.

Thanks all.

Pregnancy hormones could also be contributing to her being emotional but she will settle down eventually don't worry. Na me sef dey run from some family gatherings these days as I cant deal with the drama cheesy
I made my siblings stay, my friends who were staying with me before and are looking for their own place are stil here too.

She just asked me "why am I even crying sef" I told her what others said that I should take her home. She said she can't stay as her house is virtually empty now. The sisters are in school, the brother will soon live and the aunty just finished their own house and moved.

I think it is the pregnancy and the fear of unknown.

7-9 weeks more.

Marriage is not for kids, she knows that so why is she still crying and missing home like this?

I think it's pretty normal for someone who has forged very strong familial bonds with their relation.

This might sound harshsmiley
But you need to go tough in love.

While scolding her might sound like an option, it might turn out to be counter productive.

First, stop indulging and petting her.
I'm sure you've told her by now that she is now married to you, and that both of you need to be strong both mentally and

At first I felt it was trust issues. Maybe she doesn't trust that she will be fine with me. I assured her. This feeling I have due to what her dad kept saying "omo oo, omo oo" my daughter this, my daughter that"

I tried to assure her even though having been together for 2 years, I know she is assured enough. She wanted the marriage as much as I did. I see no reason for fear. She knows me well, I have operated an open book with her.

I just discovered something, she and her dad were chatting till 10pm sending wedding pictures and the dad forming pastor.

Could the man be making things worst. I am close to him in fact as close as the daughter to him and I can tell him to give it a while before they start their usual whatsapp chats and prayer sections if it is the problem.

It is annoying me now.

I got married on Saturday 20th of February 2016. We were in an hotel till Monday, wanted us to stay longer but she refused saying she wants to go home ( that used to be my house).

Ever since we got home yesterday ( Monday), she has been crying. Called her mom, she prayed for her, my mom called her too and prayed for her.

She stopped crying for a while, we woke up with another round of crying this morning.

This is breaking my heart. I hate to cry as it often leads me to depression now I am close to tears myself.

I don't know if I have done something wrong or what to do. It is hurting as she cries.

When we were dating, she finds it difficult without her family for long " oh, I am already missing my dad, I am already missing my siblings" could this be the reason?

One day she came to mine from home as we have Dr appointment early and she lives in another state, she got to mine and 1 hour later she wanted to go home. "I am missing my dad sha" which got me annoyed then.

Could it be that the crying now is linked? She is 25 and I am 30 and we spent quite some time together before marriage. The fact we used to be together for so long makes it more confusing. This is a house she has always been in why the crying now?

It is hurting me. Badly and I am confused.

What do I do?
