Politics / Nnamdi Kanu's Younger Brother Speaks For The First Time After Army Raid by Youngadvocate(m): 8:13pm On Sep 24, 2017
Emmanuel Kanu, younger brother to Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, has that IPOB would not backout from its agitation for Biafra Indepencdence.

According to him, IPOB is non-violent and will continue with that approach.

He said: “Freedom is not given by the oppressor; it is seized by the oppressed. As long as what we do is in line with international laws, we will continue with the struggle (for an independent state of Biafra)”, he told Punch.

“We remain a non-arms-carrying group and also a non-violent movement. We do not believe that carrying arms will ever solve any problem. We believe in genuine engagement; that’s what IPOB stands for.

“The leadership and the entire membership of IPOB are too intelligent to carry arms because we know that violence has never solved any problem, so we don’t believe in violence. This is Nnamdi Kanu’s ideology: we don’t give and we cannot take life. We don’t know anything about the said rifles.”

On the whereabouts of his father and brother, Emmanuel said Nigerians should ask the military.

“We strongly believe that the Nigerian Army whisked them away because since the day the soldiers invaded our house, we have not seen the duo and have not communicated with them. The army is in a better position to answer that question.

“They invaded our homes and took away many people – both the dead and the living. So, we are expecting them (the soldiers) to tell us their whereabouts. We have been asking questions about their whereabouts; we have yet to get any answer.

“So, we believe the invading soldiers are the right people to answer the question. They whisked away about 15 of them. They killed two of my cousins as well – they shot them dead in my compound.

“The whole thing started on the morning of September 14. First of all, they killed two of our ‘brothers’ in front of Diamond Bank, on Library Avenue, opposite Abia State Government House and took their remains away.

“After some investigations, we discovered that they took the corpses to a mortuary at Isiala Ngwa Local Government Area and dumped the bodies there. I have photographs to prove that. My community looks like a war zone up till now. People are being harassed and dehumanised by the soldiers every day.

“The soldiers are still in our community. We are still looking for some of our members in the community. Hopefully, before the end of the week we would have concluded on the number of people missing. If you visit my compound, you will discover that everywhere is covered with blood – even our dog, Jack, was shot dead.”

The Manager Director of Capital Oil and business mogul, Dr. Ifeanyi Ubah is in an ongoing closed door meeting with delegates of the caucus of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA.

According to the Special Adviser of Anambra state governor on Social Media, Ifeanyi Aniagho, the meeting which is reportedly anchored on coorperation between the Nnewi born business mogul and politician and the APGA party, is taking place at Ifeanyi Ubha's home, in Nnewi.

In attendance at the meeting are Chief Victor Umeh, the Chairman of Willie Obiano Re-election Campaign Organization and other members of the campaign team.

Recall Ifeanyi Ubah is curently in a legal tussle with the People's Democratic Party, PDP, after the party handed him a month suspension over the crisis generated in the party following the Primary election which he lost.

Ifeanyi Ubah was quoted to have said at the commencement of the meeting, "Ohamadike (Chief Victor Umeh) has been my political ally & we are INSEPARABLE."

Well, let me see how Ohaneze Ndigbo have to meet with the boys they are pursuing their treasonable case.

Keep romancing your fooli...shness and acute ignorance. You think with all attention in the South East we have forgotten your atrocities? Or by soldiers playing the scripts of Arewa Elders' forum to declare IPOB terrorists we have accepted them to be that? Well, you aremust deluded.

I am not a member of IPOB but just like majority of Igbos, I strongly support them and Nnamdi Kan. We are once and for all crushing the hegemony of the North

It has clearly played out that the North own Nigeria.

It was Arewa elders and youths who made the declaration long ago not the Nigerian Army. The Army only executed the plan.

It was clear, it was the essence of the Operation Python dance; to provoke the IPOB to take up arms and then label them terrorists.

The Arewa youths said it, that when President Buhari retunred IPOB would be declared a terrorist organisation and that Kanu would be jailed for life.

Let me wait and see the response of the leaders in the South East. Let me know if they are really alive and seeing this atrocity on their youths

Obiano, today, gave the Nigerian Army the Oba area of the state as a camp ground for the ongoing Operation. He wants the IPOB to be completely flushed for saying they would boycott the forthcoming November 18th gubernatorial election. He would want to erase all opposition.

Rochas Okorocha has, as always, already expressed the burning hate and bitterness he habours inside against the Nnamdi Kanu and the IPOB. He doesn't want anything or anyone to jeopardise his Vice-Presidency or Presidency ambition in only God knows what time.

Okezie Ikpeazu and David Umahi are seeking for loan especially, I think, from the Islamic bank. He needs the Federal government to favour him.
Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi is the same with the last two governors.

However, they are commonly rogues. They steal flagrantly and their loots are unfathomable. It bemoans the innocent mind what they are really bringing on the table of discussion.

Let me guess... Brothers, we all share common trait, that is, we are all corrupt. We understand that if our people were really given the opportunity to vote in an election, and only if election counts in Nigeria, none of us would be here. Now we have this "little boy" and his "foolish group" they want to "pour sand in our garri." We have the security chief here with us. Pls, sir, we want you to utterly finish them, maim them and ensure they never rise again. We are solidly behind you. Don't worry what our people will say. We are politicians, we know how we can handle them and swing their heads to sing your praises and condemn IPOB.

Lesson learnt: Nnamdi Kanu has been a nightmare to South Eastern politicians just as he has been to especially the North West. They all have one single common fear; which is, losing their POSITION OF POWER. And this is what the agitation by Nnamdi Kanu has brought. It is on the one hand opening the eyes of the masses to see the evils their leaders perpetuate and on the other hand, opening the eyes of the South and other Minority groups to see and question the abusive power dominance of the North West in Nigerian politics.

If you guys like, discuss how the young man will be eliminated tonight, one thing is sure, you and Nigeria will never see peace until justice,
equity and equality prevail.

Nnamdi Kanu, I respect you for this.

I hope henceforth, the struggle will be much more peaceful. But, don't stop bombarding these im.beciles we have as leaders and spurring the minds of the youths to be reawakened so that there will be ultimate revolution in this country that will restore power back to the masses.

It is either complete overhaul or restructuring of the Nigerian system, or total breakup. God forbid my children also experience this sort of political system that only spells doom for the citizens.

She has not refuted anything he said, namely why have you kept shut to all of ipob madness?

My friend shut the hell up...the same man that shielded Boko Haram members and publicly slammed Nigerian Army for going after the known terrorists is your President today.

Oby Ezekwesili was one of the profound critics of Jonathan you severally refer to as Igbo man, her brother.

What is she supposed to condemn about IPOB? That they should drop agitation? That Nigeria is so nice right now that they have no reason to express grievances?

Or is it that they are well favoured in the country and the present composition of Nigeria does any good to the citizens apart from the deeply corrupt politicians.

Perhaps it is on record that the IPOB have taken up arms against the government that they should be condemned. You should also talk about their provocative utterances and I will settle your ignorance with this; IPOB like every other group that engages in agitation for either secession or change of government can best adopt provocative utterances.

Their speech in democracy, is their power. They cannot but agitate with words that are strategic and targeted at authorities. This is what Nnamdi Kanu is doing. And that's his only power.

You talk about BSS and I wonder, in those pictures you saw them, how many of them was armed? How many of them has made any attack? How threatening is the group compared to the several militia groups we have in Nigeria?

You Nigerian youths, your foolishness is more legendary. You are the victims of this country's quagmire and stagnation yet you can stick your head for the same people that only care about how to retain you to the subject level.

You can sell your conscience for whatever price...it can't help you buy the truth.

What is all this!? Are innocent market women and youths now criminals and kidnappers the Army were mischievously sent to the East to fight? Or do these criminals and kidnappers now live in the market?

Why this intense hatred against a people? What have the Igbo really done to deserve this unjustifiable naked force?

Politics / Re: Operation Python Dance: Hausas Were Informed To Leave Umuahia By Soldiers - IPOB by Youngadvocate(m): 4:04pm On Sep 14, 2017
I received calls from my parents around 11:54 pm yesterday and 6am this morning. My parents are elderly, they don't understand what even IPOB means yet none of them could sleep. They said everyone has been on his toes, apprehensive and jittery.

My uncle, a pastor with Redeemed in Aba has never liked Nnamdi Kanu sympathizers (which I am unapologetically one of). His support for Restructuring is unflinching. But it is ironical that he has cried even more than the IPOB boys with the recent Operation Python Dance. I am in Lagos but the updates they feed me with have drawn closer to home.

According top them, the Soldiers have taken over everywhere. As at 2am early morning unprecedented sounds of gunshots were heard in Aba and soon after, soldiers started parading around. It continued till the time my mum called me around 6am.

I contacted a friend, he told me it was just few of the Igbos who had lived in the North understood what the soldiers stationed at the checkpoints in Aba and Umuahia were speaking. He said they all spoke Hausa language. And I wonder, is it that there were no soldiers from the South especially the South East with them?

I could still recall when Fmr President Jonathan deployed troops to North East, most were from the region. And even some were reportedly sanctioned for saboteur.

The truth is, we can all rant on cyber space here. But , none of us knows the truth of the deep social unrest and apprehension the soldiers have brought to the area with the Operation. It is real. It is happening now. Say whatever you want against the Igbos and the IPOB on this ignoble horror-filled attack on them, your region may be next. Who knows?

After receiving his cheque, he told journalists; "Many of us have lost hope that we will ever receive our gratuities. Sports / Gov. Ugwuanyi Fires Enugu Rangers Coach, Mgt Board For Not Retaining NPFL Trophy by Youngadvocate(m): 3:17pm On Sep 14, 2017
Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu has sacked both the management and board of Rangers International FC of Enugu for their failure to retain the Nigerian Professional Football League (NPFL) title.

Enugu Rangers, winners of the 2015/2016 Nigerian Premier League trophy could manage the middle of the table after a very frutstrating campaign this 2016/2017 season and the governor thinks it is due to poor management.

Plateau United were instead crowned the winners of the NPFL after thrashing Rangers 2-0 at the Pam Stadium on Saturday.

In a statement made available to Vanguard, Governor Ugwuanyi said:

“Fully conscious of what the Club represent, not only for Enugu State but the entire Igbo race, I decided to take up the challenge of revitalizing the Club and restoring it to its hitherto pre-eminent position in Nigerian and African soccer circles,” he said.

“By the grace of God, these efforts yielded the desired results as the Club lifted the 2015/2016 Nigerian Premier League trophy- the first time it was doing so in 32 years and much to the relief and excitement of the Club’s supporters and Igbo people everywhere in the world.

“But no sooner did this happen, than the club was plunged into crisis. Bitter in-fighting, indiscipline and players’ discontent crept in.
Revelations were made of illegal sales of players and money therefrom, pocketed by private persons and also, of the fact that some of the players we believed were bought in the 2015/2016, were actually on loan. All these culminated in embarrassingly, poor performances of the Club at the beginning of the 2016/2017 season.”

According to the displeased governor, in order to ensure the total revitalization and repositioning of the Club, “the Board and Management of Rangers Management Corporation are hereby dissolved.”

What about genuine unity and peace? Is it not sheer self-deceit to accept both are obtainable in the country? Are we united? Can't we use this opportunity to call everyone, sit down and discuss about our nationality?

Okorocha, one thing I can tell you is this...no matter how a saint and a Nationalist you force people to believe you are, you will never be more than Nnamdi Azikiwe. I bet after spewing thrash just to service your campaign for Vice Presidency, you will end up in self destruction resulting from disappointment.

The certainty is that you will never get any single support from those you speak to please so audaciously and with much angst against your people.

It's quite glaring the essences for this present agitation. Had those things that had led to the agitation been in place who would hold any sympathy for anyone trying to distabilise peace.

But, no, you people, the political class are the Ani...mals whose animalistic, corrupt acts of looting without conscience, heartlessly supporting evil, denigrating and trampling upon the rights of the common masses with state power, have led to the diverse agitation. It is because of the absence of unity, peace and development that people are finding succour and alternatives in terms of another nation.

If your master, Buhari, is well lettered and logically coherent enough in his reasoning he would have better comprehension of this fact; to address the essences of the agitation rather than trying to suppress them and bulldoze the agitators with state power.

One thing is certain, except the present structure and status quo of Nigeria are clearly addressed to favour every part and engender peace, genuine unity and development, there will never be peace and development in the country. I mean, who should be happy in this kind of a country for goodness sake! That I struggled to make little success and ensure comfort for myself doesn't mean I should disregard the harsh realities in the country orchestrated by your likes.

If you like, keep dancing the foolish ostrich dance for your drum-beaters and tune-setters. How frustrated you would be when you do not get what you want will be unimaginable.

Go ask Alex Ekwueme, he will teach you the real dance step and where to rest after the dance.

It is understandable and clear. The only "crime" the Nigerian Army have been massively deployed to the South East to bulldoze is the Biafra agitation.

The conspiracy was ripe, we saw it, we knew it and we expected it. Anyone with functional intellect will have same comprehension. It is not over 5 months the UNDP declared the South East most habitable place in Nigeria. Statistics as this have always been in the favour of the South East. They are Peaceful!!

Such notably heavy crime as terrorism has never been recorded in the South East and mayhem on innocent citizens is scarcely accounted given the prevalence of such crime in other parts of Nigeria.

Accepted, the vestiges of kidnapping, armed robbery are seen and heard of in the South East. But the question begging for answer is, are these minor societal unrest or delinquent acts beyond the powers of the Police, the NSCDC, the SSS that the Army would be loosed from their chains in the barracks to unleash mayhem?

For the past few days that the exercise have begun, have the people of the South East been relieved of the fears and apprehension the government fallaciously claimed had gripped them in the past few months or are they seeing more threats to their lives than ever?

I have seen a message circulating on Whatsapp which sought to advise people how to behave themselves until after the operation of the military and I wonder, if the people would be more gripped with fear and settle in uncertainty and bondage when the army were said to restore normalcy in their land and give them freedom, of what essence then is the Operation?

Needless dwelling on the premise. The logical conclusion is quite glaring. Just landing in the South East and the first duty was to "test army armory" or as the told us engage in "Show of force" in Nnamdi Kanu's house of all the places in the South East, shows the Buahri led government is clearly in a war against Nnamdi Kanu, his IPOB, the South East and by extension, opposition voices.

It's not new to Igbos. You have been spilling their blood since 1966.

But, what your imagination can't beat is, each time you spill their blood they breed healthier, intelligent and industrious children more abundantly, each time you destroy their properties and desecrate their lands, they bounce back with greater investment and business boom right in your own land.

They suffered genocide and most severe, cruel casualties in during the war, but, today, look at them, century miles away from you and you are still glued to only your guns and your bullets.
