1. Don't answer any call at night if you are not sure who the caller is or else you will be answering the spirits

2. If you are running late for an errand for your mother, just get some grass and knot them together - she will not remember to ask you what made come late

3. If you sit on the floor while eating, you will never get filled, because the whole food is going down into the ground

4. If you witness the burial of your father in a dream, then he will live long
Politics › Re: Adams Oshimole Governor Of Edo State : Kudos To The Learned Judges by youngies(m): 7:38pm On Mar 20, 2008
Kudos to the Judges.

Meanwhile this unending call for the sack of Maurice Iwu without addressing the fundamental issues is simply very naive.

Look at the last PDP convention, someone was simply enthroned in a Mafia-like fashion without a single vote cast. Iwu did not administer that convention.

So there is no point looking for a scape goat unnecessarily, lets get to the root of the matter otherwise we will be decieving ourselves.
Oga Mckren I beg to disagree,

Iwu needs to be SACKED and prosecuted, if found guilty jailed. It is one thing for one to superintend over this massive fraud called "election" which is being over-turned left, right and centre by the tribunals and at the same time be unrepentant - saying that if given the opportunity again he will repeat exactly what he did in April. This is an insult to Nigerians.

I see a deliberate attempt to institutionalise Iwumatics in our body polity. This is unacceptable, and if making him a scape goat to deter others who may be thinking of entrenching such, so be it.
Politics › Re: I Kill For The State by youngies(m): 1:02pm On Mar 20, 2008
The truth of the matter is that every soldier is commissioned to kill for the State. All their training is to protect the territorial integrity of the nation by eliminating (killing) all perceived enemies of the State.

The command structure in the Army makes it mandatory that orders from one's commanding officer must be obeyed before any complain.

In the case of Sgt. Rogers, if he carried out the assassination of these men/women on the orders of his superiors who considers those people as "enemies of the State." In my humble opinion, I think he was simply discharging his duties as the formost snipper in the strike force which in the meantime belonged to the Presidency.

Though if the court finally establishes that these men/women were not "enemies" of the State at that particular time, I think they should go after those who gave the order.
