Hehehehe. If Philfearon had put it this way then there wouldn't have been an argument. True that let's start celebrating our treble then

Thanks, bro for the correction. Yes o, na to begin full-throttle celebration. Lol

Lucky coincidence

It's not a coincidence, but a tested hypothesis know as: Philfearon's Theory of Win 6 Draw 7th (PTW6D7). The theory worked perfectly throughout the season. In line with the PTW6D7 hypothesis, our next 6 games are won already. People, let's start celebrating our treble plus Liga Supercopa and Uefa Super Cup. Hahaha!

"Such legacies, she said, include 1.4 million jobs created yearly out of 1.8 million jobs required as confirmed by the National Bureau of Statistics."

I can bet this woman is a pathetic liar. If the emboldened is true, why the frightening unemployment in the country? You people have manipulated all the figures to score yourselves high, but remember God can never be fooled; indeed, "Diaris God in everything we're doing!"

Shouldn't you be celebrating your team's success and minding your business?

Brother, it's all part of the celebration: your team's trophylessness is a big trophy for me. Over the years as a Cule, I celebrate in two ways: when we win and when your team loses. smiley So, you can see that it's double celebrations.

Hope you've recovered sha? Don't worry, next season is already around the corner. Night, night bro. Snuggle up tight!

What shall it profit a player to score back-to-back hat-tricks and still end the season trophyless? Or what shall a player take in exchange for a trophy ...... Pichichi?

The reason I didn't wish for an El Clasico final in Berlin:

The media hype would be too much, and this would put too much pressure on our players and the game's officials, especially the centre-referee. Worst of it, the match would create unnecessary media-fuelled competition between Messi and Ronaldo, as they (media) would dub it: "Berlin Final to determine the winner of FIFA Ballon d'Or 2015."

All of these would affect Messi's game, composure and team-play. Now, the pressure won't be too much and Messi won't be in direct competition with anyone in Juventus. So, we are going to enjoy a balanced game and the officials won't be put under undue pressure as well. Honestly, I prefer it this way. cheesy

philfearon:

That's the conspiracy theory ooo..

Brother, but you know the plausibility of the theory cannot be disputed? I was reading some of the reactions from last night's game on yahoo sports forum, and someone made the below assertions. These are my exact sentiments as well:

"They could score Bayern 7 goals if they wanted to, somehow they didn't want and they didn't think it was necessary to hurt Pep that they still have the sentimental feeling with their former coach."

I still strongly think Luis Enrique made his substitutions to deliberately make the game more difficult for us, whilst making it easier for Bayern in order to protect the job and reputation of Pep. It's a hypothesis though; but it's not implausible. I'm happy he did that. I still love and respect Pep and wouldn't have fancied humiliating him. It wasn't about Bayern Munich, it was about our own Pep Guardiola. Although Suarez genuinely sustained hamstring injury and was removed, but the substitutions and rearrangements were deliberately tossed around by Luis Enrique.

I don't think our coach is that daft and clueless; he's an excellent coach and could have done far better than he did with the substitutions if the stakes were really high. But we were playing for nothing anymore, so he decided to use his heart and not his head. Thank you Luis Enrique for that kind and intelligent gesture. I'm happy that Pep finished the tie with his head held high. Lol at my conspiracy hypothesis cheesy

Champions League - In-depth: Is this the greatest Barcelona side in history?

Barcelona are on course to become the only club to do the treble of Champions League, domestic league and cup twice in their history.

The bolded above is what we call *CLASS*. Much Respect to FCB!

philfearon:
I just have one post match comment:
Why was Suarez substituted?

I think Suarez was substituted to weaken us and reduce the potency of our strike-force. Same with the introduction of a double pivot. Enrique did these two things to alter our game and save his brother's (Guardiola) job and reputation. We were lucky it didn't backfire. This was more like a high-level form of match-fixing. This is my personal opinion though; I might be wrong afterall

From the look of things, the League trophy would be coming earlier than expected; we would become Campones if we win Atletico next week. What a week we have had! "Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning." Now, our morning of joy has finally come. Congratulations, Cules!

Yep, we are back! Thanks to Philfearon and everyone that helped to bring our thread back.

On Wednesday night, I couldn’t find sleep because I was trying so hard to find the right words with which to describe Lionel Messi; however, I couldn’t find any. I later remembered the words of Guardiola, when he said: “Don't write about him, don't try to describe him. Just watch him.” On realising this, I knew I had been engaged in a futile exercise.

Now, my problem is fixed: I will no longer try to describe Messi; I will only watch him. Some are great players, excellent goal scorers, marvelous ball-headers, powerful shooters and brilliant penalty-takers. As for Messi, we are just watching him; no words, as he’s beyond description. Leo, we are watching you. End of discussion. QED.

This is one big opportunity for Messi, Mascherano and Neymar to avenge their World Cup defeats to Germany. That should be enough to motivate them.

'A measure of Messi's greatness is that he makes world class players like Aguero and Suarez look distinctly ordinary by comparison.' Gary Lineker.

"It's curious, Leo didn't score in the first leg or in the second, but he was still the best player in the two games." Luis Enrique

I absolutely agree with the above statements by Gary and Enrique. Imagine Rakitic who scored his first ever CL goal, and yet no one is talking about him because it was another Messi show.

God bless you, Leo Messi. It's been a privilege for me to watch you play every week!
