After watching that first half and you don't see what ten hag is trying to do, then you probably think football is like PlayStation. Some are saying they should have used mount money to sign Amrabat. Mtchw bloody novices. Amrabat is not technically gifted; neither is he a pass master. In as much mount has proven to be inefficient, he offers something that Amrabat cannot offer. I'm totally in support of Amrabat purchase but only as a cover for casemiro. Purchasing another midfielder to replace mount must be someone that can offer what mount offered to Chelsea last two seasons. Last last, I think the team will improve soon. Even though the players are disgracefully bad, Ten hag won't allow the mediocrity to continue. |

metodman: Lots of average players in there. The likes of rashford, Bruno fernandes, etc. Average average average players. I will not watch their matches in a long time because they don't deserve two hours of my time. I feel sorry for ten hag. A good manager, but the players are not technical enough to execute his style of play. |

The words of sir Alex Ferguson Sir Alex Ferguson on Manchester United’s current team: “I think Ten Hag’s done a fantastic job. He’s grabbed it and brought his own players in, which was important. If he gets the centre forward [Hojlund] ready quickly they’ll be a really good side. That’s what they’ve really lacked over the last few years.” 🗣 “The rest of the team is very good. They’ve got great experience, the defenders with Varane and Martinez. Experience in midfield with Eriksen and Casemiro.” “The foundations are there and they’re always completed by your goalkeeper and centre forward. The new goalkeeper is very athletic and the centre forward hopefully can get fit quickly.” Sir Alex’s seal of approval Abeg, if you are not happy with Ten Hag, go to Manchester and sack him, and stop disturbing us here. I'm sick and tired of these gen z version of manutd fans that want everything to be soft and easy. They think Rome was built in a day. If you are a fan of "hire and sack manager" kind of football, why not go and support Chelsea? You won't be missed. |

The solution to Greenwood's problem is simple if Manchester united will listen to my advice. The solution is this... Get the babymama to support the boyfriend and be involved publicly and exclusively. Since the feminist is pointing their hate fingers on Greenwood, get the girlfriend to support Greenwood; if possible plead on his behalf on live tv (that's if she truly loves Greenwood). Piers Morgan will be happy to conduct the interview. 2 Likes |

TeslaFC: I modified the post and tried to take away De bruyne from the conversation because individually, he's playing under a different system, and his growth in that system is sacrosanct to mancity. Here in manutd, I still feel fernandes hasnt grown as much as i have expected him to grow over the years. He plays well, but we have expected him to be at certain level by now but he still remains there at an average level (in the manutd system). |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by YourBestWriter: 4:38pm On Aug 16, 2023 |
TeslaFC: I was a huge fernandes fan when he came newly to manutd. But over the years now, I feel he hasn't gotten to a certain level; the Scholes or Rooney kind of level. Well, I can say he is a good player, but in manutd standard, he is average (same as rashford). Bruno is a good player, and i love his passion for the badge. But as for the real manutd standard, i think he is average. Manutd is a big club. We are suppose to be at the level of real Madrid, Barcelona, Bayern Munich if not that the standard dropped massively over the years. Clubs now who are suppose to be cleaning our shoes are closing in on us everyday. It is a sad story; the story of Manchester united, but we hope that history will repeat itself and we will come out from the ashes and be reborn again like a Phoenix. I thought of Kevin de bruyne but i remove it because he is a bloody mancity player. |

Borunda: Perhaps you take a time yourself and do a quick search about rivalries in football. Concentrate on understanding the differences between your so called many rivals and bitter rivals or biggest enemies. I can see you have a problem of reading in between lines (like many other Nigerians do). Next time, don't be lazy. Read carefully before you comment on people's posts. And why should I check on crickets bla bla bla. I'm not as daft as you are. |

Could it be that ETH is waiting for the return of Kobie Maino, so he's not ready to purchase another midfielder to avoid hindering Maino's progress. Perhaps he is right. Perhaps Maino will have a big season this year, and we may not need Amrabat after all. |

Why is it that Nigeria manutd fans cannot differentiate between fans hatred for glazers' greed and the money they put in for transfers? This is why I like discussing manutd issues with indigenous manutd fans in the UK. Let me lecture you guys a bit... The glazers are bad for manutd because they take from manutd and don't want to have a close relationship with the fans. In other words, they are actually cricket fans and know nothing about football. Manchester united have a way of doing things. Sir Alex Ferguson have said it several times that the fans are a major core of the team's success. The glazers may be bringing money to buy players, but they are greedy and are not interested in the fans opinions. They have lost the fans a long time ago when they put the club into massive debt. The atmosphere is toxic because of their greed. I hope my fellow Nigeria manutd fans can understand this. Again, I want to use this opportunity to tell you guys that LIVERPOOL, LEEDS, AND MAN CITY are the bitter rivals Manchester united have in the remier league. I say this because I know that naija manutd fans are seeing CHELSEA as manutd's biggest enemy. It is wrong. 2 Likes |

The problem in Manchester united is the Glazer family. Now let me explain. Let's use newcastle as a case study here. Before the Saudi owners took over Newcastle, the players were playing without passion or enthusiasm. They were easily manoeuvred and swept aside by opponents. This is because the atmosphere in the club allowed mediocrity. But as soon as there was an announcement of a new owner, things took an instant turn towards the positive. The new owners motivated the club because they were eager to support the club with everything (and when I say everything, I mean everything including not expecting anything financially from the club apart from their profit), and then a fan base that saw the worst past owners but endured with incessant rallies demanding for a change which yielded fruit and transformed the club today. They never stopped protesting. They spoke with one voice until they finally got what they asked for. And when that happened, the players saw the strength and passion of the fanbase. It further created a deep bond between the players and the fans. And so, the match stick was lighted at that very moment. The fire escalated way beyond a single match stick, so much so it became big like a wildfire and it's looking quite impossible to stop. Sincerely, I see Newcastle winning something special this season. My point is that the atmosphere in Manchester united at the moment is toxic with fans not getting what they asked for, and the owners holding the club in bondage. Not to forget a Greenwood situation and a Maguire that is refusing to leave. It feels bad now for a once giant of British football to be regarded today as the Everton of Manchester portraying an average Bruno fernandes as their best player and looking up to mediocre Rashford for goals. It feels insane to see that this once great club had players like tevez coming on from the bench because of the brilliance of Cristiano ronaldo and Wayne rooney. And as a fan that have supported this club from my mother's womb, it feels bad to see the story of manchester united; a sorry case of greed and bad owners. |

As long as Manchester united see highly of average players like Bruno fernandes, we will continue to be the Everton of Manchester. This hurts a lot because I have been supporting Manchester united since 2003, and there was a time man city didn't exist. This feels so bad. 2 Likes |

Family / Re: The Biggest Mistake Nigerian Parents Do by YourBestWriter: 3:55pm On Aug 14, 2023 |
stevestifler: A lot of people misunderstood this post. Firstly, the post is for parents (parents naturally want their kids to be entitled to them). I mean, if your kid is not entitled to you, there is a 80% chance that you are a failure. Secondly, there are two types of parents just like there are good parents and bad parents. There are parents that don't want their children to suffer in this life (me inclusive). There are also other parents that don't give a f. The purpose of the post is to enlighten Nigerian parents of any of the above categories about the need to empower their children beyond just education. That is why I said "above all, force your kids to learn skills." Whether you are a rich person or poor person, make it your responsibility to empower those children of yours beyond going to school. School is not enough in 2023 and the worst under this perilous Tinubu era. @Everybody 1 Like 1 Share |

Family / The Biggest Mistake Nigerian Parents Do by YourBestWriter: 11:54am On Aug 12, 2023 |
The biggest mistake Nigerian parents do is to prioritize on seeing your children through school without a clear plan about their lives after they graduate. Have you heard about living rich but die poor? This is often the outcome for many unlucky families that thread through this path. The society is unforgiving. Not only in Nigeria, but also in developed countries. I call on all parents to invest in their children's lives beyond just going to school. Buy lands if you could, buy art works in the hope of passing it to your children for huge profits, build connections, get ready because if you retire one day, and your children are still unemployed, is it not back to poverty? Education alone doesn't pay in the 21st century. If you insist on investing solely on your children's education, then strive to make that investment abroad in developed countries. Don't fall into the modern scam called private universities in Nigeria. Above all, force your children to learn skills. Tinubu doesnt care about who you are, or what struggles await the future Nigerians. 211 Likes 19 Shares |
