99100: I'm a resident and indigene of Orlu geopolitical zone. After a turbulent week as a result of fuel scarcity and hike in Imo state , I'm compressed to ask this question ; Why do we buy fuel between #120 -130 and the same fuel is being sold #87 in the north? Does it mean that the govt only subsidises fuel that goes to the north.... and easterners can buy high. What a Question!!!!!!!! Ogberan you best go ask owners of petrol station in your region before you start blaming PMB government because that is wia you are going. |

Business › Re: Procrastination In Business And How I Got Over It - Marvejohndaily.com by yusufbida(m): 12:47pm On Jan 06, 2016 |
YoungExec: @op Great piece. With respect to the paragraph where you related procrastination to business, I think the reverse is also the case, a lot of people I've come across invest disproportionately more in their business than on personal needs. It brings to mind, the analogy of the meat seller who sells all the good parts to his customers and brings the bones and leftovers back for his family. I believe the key is striking a balance, there must be a balance between your investing in your source of income (business, job etc) and your self (personal needs). Both extremes are equally bad.
Thanks for your illuminating piece. Good Topic Good Contribution May God bless the op and YoungExec all the posters above don't silly menh Now to myself procrastination in Business is my concern and I ve learned my lesson from ds post. |

Politics › Re: Can Somebody Please Enlighten Me On What I Stand To Gain From FG Subsidy Removal by yusufbida(m): 6:07pm On Jan 03, 2016 |
TonyeBarcanista: Every year government pay hundreds of billions to oil marketers to subsidise the pump price of premium motor spirit(petrol/fuel) so that you and I can be buying at a price lower than the open market price. What these marketers does is to fleece you and I by hoarding the product and force us to buy at much higher rate than even the open market price while still collecting billions on subsidy. What the government want to do is very simple; since open market price is estimated at N89-N90 per litre, they will no longer subsidise it(it's affordable). That means marketers will be competing among themselves to woo customers and we will experience less sabotage considering that nobody will want to lose their share in the market.
How will you benefit? Simple... 1. You will most likely never experience a situation of buying fuel at N3-N5 above the open market price.
2. The hundreds of billions giving to market ears annually will be channelled to productive ventures.
3. The issue of fuel hoarding may hardly arise.

MosakuAW: How can GEJ tamed her, when she is more powerful than GEJ himself.
She acted like the Vice president of the country.
Infact we had 3 vice presidents under GEJ administration. Which can be compared to types of partners in Business.
1: Sambo: Dormant partner
2: Diezani: Active partner
3: Patience Jonathan: Sub partner
These set of people run Nigeria like a partnership organisation under GEJ administration.
So sad, Nigeria is place where the rich want his/her personal driver to be a Bsc holder and stating in the advert that, MBA will be an added advantage.

Buharifan: Hello,
There is a lady I got her number through 'truecaller number search' about a year ago. Incidentally, we happened to be from the same state. Based on my conversation with her I can deduced that she is religious and intelligent. She is a University student. She even happened to know one of my sisters in her class.
I made an attempt to see her when I visit home last year. She refused to see me, instead called me to thank God for journey mercy back to my state of residence. From there, I stopped calling her because me I want a serious relationship but she seems not serious. So I called off the r/ship. After about 6 months she sent me greetings on whatsapp which I accepted, and restarted the talking and the chatting. This week she came to one neighbouring state for a wedding, and I offered to visit her which she accepted. I travelled to the state ysterday to see her. on reaching there, I called her around 5:30pm she gave the venue I can meet her but she said after sunset lets meet. After sunset, I called she said she has left the venue, I asked her to tell me where she is now, she declined. It is story upon story. She refused to pick my calls later. I decided to return to my state that night and got hone around 12:30am.
What surprise me is this is somebody I see as religious but ending up decieving me. It is a lesson. The same scenario with mine yestday but she welcomed me and accepted me. |
