Yes we peck. |
hmmn, Eya, has the poster responded? |
People should let their children get to an age whereby they can rationally choose whether or not they want these tribal marks. It's as good as child abuse! |
Poster, are you a man? |
tai2:In other words, pay your tithe to your woman. Oh great wise one, you are truly foolish (pardon me, i don't mean it harshly). |
Look at how hard you have to try to "Control A Woman". Sign of who's winning this war? We do it effortlessly baby. |
Hey all, I'm leaving for Yenagoa this Sunday. . I'll be there for a week, work purposes. I'm sure the mood will be high there! (Goodluck) How are the people? Where are the nice (safe) spots to go in the evenings? How is the general environment? People tell me that Yenagoa is "just one road with water on both sides". Ok. . I'm sure there's more that that? Thanks for the input! |
I used to call him 'b' but now i just call him [by his name]. ![]() |
Tee_Jay:That's why I don't use numerical abbreviations. Not good practice! |
DonChizi:Guy so are u blaming her cause your phone got lost, That one is a casualty now. She wasn't the DIRECT cause of you losing your phone. U cant blame her for that. ![]() |
(This may apply to men too) Ok you're sitting or going about you daily office business and then u get word that someone in the office or someone's friend just came in with things to sell (i.e. shoes, bags, undies, clothes, jewellery, make-up etc.) in the boot of their car in the parking lot, or in a need-to-know basis office room (lol). At the end of the day, you end up buying stuff not in your budget! just because it was convenient and right in front of you (and u dont have to pay immediately ). So a considerable amount of your salary is gone on some over-priced stuff. Although rarely, you do get a good deal.Today I bought a party dress, a clutch bag to match, a dress-top, and a t-shirt. Last year it was out of control, There was a day i bought three bags at a go from this woman in my former office. I felt so bad the next day cos i went home and my sis told me they were overpriced (the straps of one of them are now cutting), and I still had to deprive myself of a large chunk of my next month's salary. Anyway, point is, buying stuff on credit could put you in serious debt! Especially those seemingly cheap things people bring to sell in our offices. I don dey reduce my spending now, Vanity upon vanity, all is vanity. Any experiences/input? |
Tof-enof:Good, Guys are such idiots. Witness or not. My prayer is that we stumble upon the non-idiots. |
ode remo:In that case I'll start packing my suitcases. |
Next thing will be a coup d'etat. ![]() |
eddiebomba:dont mind them, i met one stupid girl who told me "i'm just hor*ny!" (long story, she was trying to be all like she just wants to stay with or is using her ex because of se*x) thinking she was causing someone else misery. Now her ex has dumped her and moved on to greener, less ploughed (or is it plowed?) pastures. |
Yes, you may be talking rubbish. |
Big ups to pafun. You've stuck to your point staunchly despite all the rapid fire. Home is home. Grass might be greener elsewhere and it's our natural tendency as human beings to go where the grass is greener. . . But I have this to say to the topic: There are jobs in the UK even for Nigerians but the FACT is that at least 70% of our Nigerians out there AREN'T working at jobs they would be proud of telling their mates about. I was born abroad, lived in several countries and right now I'm in Nigeria. I came back in '08, finished my youth service feb '09. I'm now working at a good job (but before that, i was at a smaller job for 6 months). My goal is to get an international job that keeps me travelling and I'll probably leave Nigeria again before the end of this year (for other reasons). But after everything, I'm coming back and I'm going to make a home for myself here matter how tough it is. Even if i marry 'oyinbo'. Mr. justwise, you slipped up here (couldn't get the quote from page 3): "You are not making any sense, there is no contract for life, it has time limit and when u are done with now, u get another one. You should be happy to have one. Not everybody wants to be a senator, stealing money, doing all sort of nonsense to make a living. " I want to be a senator or a minister one day and I don't intend on "stealing money," or "doing all sort of nonsense to make a living." |
I've had ONE boyfriend. He was my 2nd, the first was a mistake. While I've been with my boyfriend - 2 years- I've not been with anyone else. I'm not a saint, I've had a few indiscretions (just making out) but that only happened because my boyfriend wasn't being true to me. If it finally works out with him, I'll marry him (don't intend on cheating) but if it doesn't I've decided to SAVE MYSELF FOR MY HUSBAND. @ poster, Not all girls are ho*s. |
That guy would have been sent from heaven as my own personal gift. ![]() |
johnkent:Male? ![]() @ topic: CRY!!! CRY!!! It's time for u to cry. Cry, sob, weep. 99 days for the thief, one day for the owner. |
Naija politics, i know nothing about! All I know is that Sanusi's signature is now on most of the Naira notes i see! Eya poor Soludo. They dont even want any of his signed notes to remain in circulation. |
I knew Asa back in boarding school - we used to call her Bukky then - she was my elder sister's friend and was friendly with me and my sister who was in the same class as me (we were in JS2, they were in SS1). We all left the country, etc and since I got back we haven't spoken. I didn't even know she was Asa until I looked at her picture then read some articles about her. She was a cool person back in school, eccentric and on her own most of the time. She also used to write and recite poems and stuff so it follows. She has every right to sue the magazine for defamation if they're not saying anything good about her. Her sexuality is nobody's business and as long as she hasn't declared anything publicly then it's mere gossip. Sue them Bukky! |
I'd gladly go to show off my hotter, richer new beau. On the down side if i was still miserable on the inside. . heck no! |
:p |
:p |
Nawa for the name of the person that started this post (is that allowed??). ojust4real:I totally agree with you, Me until I was 20. Now that I've seen, I love my baby's back, shoulders and arms. |
Lmao, Y'all sabi pounce! The post is quite daft. |
Guy, you should know her better than we do. Whether she *did* anything with the guy or not, y'all might still end up getting married so be extremely discerning else you'll get stuck with what u never intended on fella. |
Y'all might as well join in doing the Jay-Z Hova sign while listening to his music or attending concerts (triangle formed by joining both index fingers and thumbs). The ITK's on this thread should find out what the sign means then tell me. BEAST flashed; the thread clearly states. P.S. I looove rap music (esp/ beats) and I'll confess I did dance to 'On to the Next One' before sitting down to actually watch the video, and when I did it creeped me out. Even before I read about the whole Jay-Z ish i was rapping to his songs but left out the parts I didn't like, but I dont think that's enough. Peeps should just be more observant and draw closer to God. |
