Hello house, please I bought four Ipower slim battery 200ah, with the ipower mppt charge controller 60A, i used 250watt 8 solar panels but presently the battery is not getting charge from solar, I don't know why. Its a gel battery... The charger came with default charge setting of AGM, would that be the problem....or is it the battery... Please anyone who has used the same product should advice me.

try and contact ipower,tell dem your problem with thier product,they should rectify for you immediately

I'm not planning to go off grid entirely. I just want to have as many options as possible without a large battery investment. I was first advised to use tubular batteries but then, an installer offered the option of the GSL Powerwall. Making a decision has been tough. I like the idea of programmable inverters. I'm planning for a 5kVa solar installation and I want to maximize its use.

Why don't u call us for installation, all the separation would be done during the wiring, you use timers only if you want to take advantage of solar power at a particular time frame ( let's say 10am to 2pm) anything after this time frame, that socket won't pass Power, be it inverter gen or nepa.. For you to have your way around it, you introduce an ats( automatic time switch).

We are professionals in inverter installations and procurement.

Don't use a pwm controller for that, use Mppt charge controller. You will lose power and also damage d controller.
