I need some clarifications before I take a leap. I am actually new to this inverter thing but it looks promising to me. when fully charged how long can a 1KVA inverter with two 100 Ah battery last. Assuming it is been used to power a a 32 inches TV, a decoder, a ceiling fan and two low energy bulbs? Also, is this system mobile? Can one easily dismantles and carry it about... like carrying it to office to charge? Also, any difference(disadvantage) in having a two 100Ah batteries to a single 200ah battery?

It depends on the watts ur appliances consume, according to my estimation, you shud get abt 6.5hrs, the system is not mobile because 100amps ba3s are heavy, but if u intend moving it around with your car, den u might nt ve any problem, there is no difference havin two 100amps or a single 200Ah. I ve been following this thread 4 a while, oga qc1 hw is d building, have u been able to stop the sinking, is ur drainage completed, engineers in d house, i can see u pple r doin ur very best to do all it tks 4 qc1, help him find solution. It's nt gud for ba3 life, but if that is Wat u ve, why not. I ve sum1 using diff batteries of fairly used original Emerson and other brands mixed 2geda and it's been working 4 over 3 yrs without issue.

avr in inverters is not like the normal avr.. inverter is inverter and must be sensitive to low voltage and as result automatically switch to inverter mode by default. . If you need something better get a servo stab from Prag.
so nothing is wrong with the inverter in question.

I bought a 1.5kva inverter and two 12v 200a batteries but the batteries are from diff companies. Now the inverter is not charging the batteries when connected together but charges each battery when connected individually to the inverter. What could be the reason for this.could it be because the batteries are from diff companies

Is ur system a 12v or 24v system, mayb it's a 12v sys, so try connecting in parallel

first work before u even all of price is how to make your power consumption very efficient. Doing that can save u a lot of unnecessary cost. Hint. Your freezer don't have to run all the time, your AC don't have to run at all. Get rechargeable fans and even those run on demand. Get energy saver bulbs of not more than 11w. TV don't have to be on 24h. U need to itemise each load and hours it would run. Do that and cut down on the huge power consumption and watch ur bill go down.

My house is sooo Energy efficient that often time what we use in a day is replaced before noon the next day and in most cases we can run the house directly from solar while the battery stays in float. And yes my load include a 175L freezer. We barely scratched 40% dod of our 440ah battery bank.
