imperiouxx: SUNY is never a college. It's a university college. State University of New York is one of the best cheap schools here.
In fact, it's one of the state/public university in NY.
NYU (New York University is private) and there is not University of New York. The guy said community college. It seems he doesn't even know what he's going for Well he should get his stuffs right because he's even confusing himself Portelli, study your application well and try to write practice likely visa interviews so you won't make mistake in your next interview. Whites: And why would I care about you being in the US, in Nigeria or even Timbuktu It's none of my business. Some of us have lived in the US for years, some of us are US citizens working outside the country. I personally choose to go back have my kids in the US because my insurance, that I have through work (an International Organization) covers everything. And even if it did not, I would be able to pay out of pocket because I believe in working hard and not seeking public aid, whether Medicaid or whatever. And just so you know, I still have my house for which I'm still paying mortgage and currently renting out. So, no, nothing I said to you was because I envied you or your life, because I do not know you and being in the US makes you no more knowledgeable than most other people on this thread.
It's your condescending and know it all way of communicating here that I find off putting. Not just in this thread, but on a myriad other threads on NL. So save yourself all this justification about being in the US, or married to who, or a PR. I don't care about that kind of nonsense. Just share your opinion and move on. I don't need to know the story of your life so as to agree with your opinion. Na wa oo, what are you trying to justify ? I don't understand your rant sef. U just came from one corner to cuss me. Ok u have talk. It doesn't even tally with the question that was asked. What have I done na ? oya forgive me |

Onegai: Thanks.
Okay my hospital didn't give me that. They initially gave me a fit to fly and a letter which stated. my LMP, EDD and what injections I had taken (Tetanus and Fansidar). I had to beg them to include my scan breakdown and one lab result (which they attached a photocopy). They didn't order a papsmear till I had a case of what I suspected was Sciatica and the results were not included with what they gave me. Yes they knew I was travelling and insisted all I needed was the initial 2 letters until I spoke to one of the doctors privately. I wonder why they didn't give me the full records though and they made me pay for them... Naija hospital and money sha. The better you port here ASAP |

Whites: It's not a question of winning, but rather of eligibility. Whether you are eligible to vie is a question that is addressed at the very beginning, not when you win.
Also, like Tvegas mentioned, if you're not sure about something, then I'm not sure why you feel so compelled to come on here and want to sound like an authority. It's especially annoying when you make it seem like you know everything and that your position is always the correct one, based on what you recently stated to be "based on your experience"- This, coming from someone who has been in the US for less than a year, and on an F1 visa to boot. Seems you got issh with me being in the USA right, are u here to validate a claim or beef. I and tvegas both gave a link, it wasnt as if I just posted just what I feel like , I did a research and also posted a reference. I didn't force anyone to accept what I have said. Whites y evils na . I will let it slide. Remeber 2 people can't have the same opinion. People shouldNt come here and cuss down another person if the opinion doesn't go down well with them. Tvegas: All of them have found their defense in the congressional act of 1790 which states that: “And the children of citizens of the United States, that may be born beyond sea, or out of the limits of the United States, shall be considered as natural born citizens.”
Thats one of the solutions for the Section 1, Article II of the U.S. Constitution that you quoted. Another congressional act in 1795 issued a similar assurance, though it changed the language from “natural born citizen” to “citizen.”But the State Department clarifies the issue, saying that the 1790 language is honored under section 301(c) of the Immigration and Nationality Act.
A child can be born in Sambisa Forest as far as he has either parents as american citizens he will be fine. This issue of "natural born citizen" is mere controversy and there are plans to amend the constitution to clarify this confusion. If you need sources and textbooks on this matter,i will oblige you. I hereby rest my case. the constitution is still on amendment level. Ted Cruz has been in the news lately. Those you mentioned never won the election, if they won, something Might crop up. As long as we both know the constitution hasn't been amended. I rest my case |

Please, if my baby is born in US, I hope he can become Nigerian president o! I'm gunning to acquire one or two oil wells as the Mother of the Commander in Chief of the armed forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria). Was reading on a gossip site that na $1k de them Obama joint account. After 6yrs of being POTUS and all the premature grey hair!
See how GEJ is retiring to Otuoke in grand style and nothing less than billions of $$$
Abeg una o, I'm just kidding o! No one should yab me this early morning o! Actual Obama earns more but in a justified way. He earns like $224 per hr. his wife only get $10000 per yr. read my visual link. Obama net worth after leaving office is gonna be $14m. Although he gives a lot to charity. Anyways there's nothing like being president in naija. I need just 3 oil well http://visualeconomics.creditloan.com/the-presidential-paycheck-where-obama-gets-his-money/ |

Which school did you go with their I-20? The school is not the problem. His final answer spoilt it all. You said your dad is an importer but never even travelled to Ghana before. Just look at that. He spoilt it all himself. The VO didnt have any choice than to approved him but he/she only played a psychological mind game to know if he's credible and he flopped. Go get the visa again, don't panic and say the right thing |

Onegai: Actually, one US parent can make one a citizen automatically. John McCain was born on foreign soil. The US embassy in Nigeria has a page for children of citizens born abroad, their parents are to declare their birth and request their passport. Omg, did u read the post I replied to I was talking about the fact if the lady gives birth to her baby in Nigeria, the disadvantage is that the baby will be a citizen of USA but can't be a president because he/she wasn't born in America soil. I will prefer we understand post before we quote others |

Amother4life: There are two general ways to obtain citizenship through U.S. citizen parents, one at birth and one after birth but before the age of 18.
Obama could still have run for office because his mother was a United States citizen. So, he had no business using the lottery or any other type of shenanigans to move to the United States. That's why you have the CRBA process at every American embassy. There is a man currently running for the office of President by name Ted Cruz. Cruz was born in Calgary, Canada to an American mother just like President Obama. Details : http://www.uscis.gov/us-citizenship/citizenship-through-parents
http://www.politifact.com/truth-o-meter/article/2015/mar/26/ted-cruz-born-canada-eligible-run-president-update/ Ma'am don't u get what am talking about. I said you can not be a president if u are not born in the USA . Regardless watever way u become as citizen, as long as u weren't born in the soil, u can only become a governor or mayor . Finally, one must live in the United States for at least 14 years to be president, in addition to being a natural-born citizen.Seems that's better understood. Thanks The constitution after the adoption of the constitution Article II, Section 1: No Person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President; neither shall any Person be eligible to that Office who shall not have attained to the Age of thirty five Years, and been fourteen Years a Resident within the United States. |

nefertitiram: Your post cracked me up! If you have your baby in Nigeria, always remember, place of birth: Nigeria plus the baby can never become the president of USA. Obama was African but was born in Hawaii. If he was born in Kenya and emigrate through visa lottery or other means, he could never be a president. That's the rule. |
