So my buddy who lives and works in canada is planning to have her baby in US...
Why is this confusing? huh
It's not confusing. Even citizen leave USA to have their baby in Canada. I plan to do that as well when am ready. At least when my kids are tired of living in USA , they can go to Canada in peace without obstacles.

Hello, didn't you see where I wrote that Medicaid vary from state to state. I was talking about Texas and CHIp. Thank you
vamum:

I beg to differ as well. If Medicaid was automatic why do we still have people filling for bankruptcy after having their kids stay in the NICU for months or why all the frustartions on Obamacare and it not being fair to some classes of people. Medicaid as i know it from someone who has done extensive research in 2 different states is that: If you are low income, yes you can file for Medicaid for your kids and at that time it is automatic. If not i wont be paying for insurance for my kids at my job and will use Medicaid for them and save me $ monthly. Everything you need is here: http://www.medicaid.gov/medicaid-chip-program-information/by-topics/eligibility/eligibility.html

So yes if your husband's income is within the income limits specified in the link above the child is eligible for medicaid. The mother however as you correctly stated is not eligible for any assistance unless she is able to adjust her status before childbirth, file for the health insurance and prove that her and her husbands joint income qualifies them for any state or federal health insurance programs.

God Bless!!

She could be gentle, however gentle she is, her actions, inactions, reactions and responses can't be the same to everyone. Furthermore, you can't change individual perception about you until they change it from their perspective. We all love peace and war at different points and phases in life. She could be nice to you and me but..... Congratulations on your visa approval . See you in Obama land!
But huh Well, Being gentle and nice doesn't make one accept insults. I try to keep it cool . How every ?

Please don't do it. If asked by a consular or Poe officer if you've ever been a public charge or received governmental assistance in the USA, you'll have to admit this truthfully and this may jeopardize your future entry. At your visa interview, you made a representation that you are fully capable to afford the cost of your trip for all members of your family who travelled with you including unborn baby, why go back on your word. And moreover these programs are for residents not visitors. Think about it...the cash value of benefits you'll receive during your short stay is probably no more than $500 in total. Abeg ur God who brought you this far is bigger than that. And just like your user name, our God is too big, too sure, more than some $500 troublemaker assistance...just my humble opinion though.
Lol, is it even up to $500. The WIC card is only use to get milk, cereal and baby food. It can't be use to purchase any other thing. cheesy

If you cannot respond to this, please kindly unquote me as you would not like what would come next.

We all love Nigeria, and have sentimental attachment to it. Look at the big picture here, go to US, have your baby, wait for hubby file for your citizenship, when you get it you can shuttle between Lagos and America 100 times a year for the love of Nigeria.

See this woman that has the opportunity all of us are praying for for o! Ah ah, sad
What is in the Nigeria sef? (Me that is even talking, I'm marking calendar, I want to go home!!! cry )
Yimu for you. You like USA talk true. Anyways I was about advising her to wait back in USA and let her husband file for her. It takes 6mths or less. She can then go back to naija with no restrictions or stories at th POE. The husband should decide sha

hi doc.pls what drug can you recommend for itchy scalp and also i have keloid on my neck what can i do to lessen the appearance or even totally remove it totally.
For your itchy scald, try get a good shampoo and dry your hair often. You could also see your doctor who will probably give you a prescription ketoconazole if the scalp is itchy and shredding.
As for the keloid , depends on how large it is, your doctor could you to get surgical excision. Incases, 50-70%, keloid reappear but with mitomycin C , it could stop. See your doctor ASAP

Hello Pharm,
I had a terrible backpain behind my breastbone and feeling of indigestion continously for one week. In fact I felt each time I took any meal as if it stayed in my chest. Anyway I visited the hospital and I was asked by the doctor to go and have a CT scan. The test result gave my kidney and liver a pass mark but showed evidence of PUD and inflamed gallbladder. I was treated for PUD with Gestid, omeprazole, flagyl and cyprotab. I was eventually relieved of the back pain and indigestion because I now go to toilet easily. My concern now is that I still experience a burning sensation from the stomach to throat and I feeling a lump behind my throat though painless. I have exhausted the drugs I was given in the hospital. Does it mean I have to continue using the drug? I had already met a General Surgeon who told me I should visit him after six months, if my backpain continues as I was concerned about the gallbladder issue. For now no serious backpain
Sorry for replying late, you need to see that surgeon or your doctor ASAP. You could beta refill of your drugs.

T Good day vo,
Your are indeed an oasis in the desert, I applied for a US visa while my wife was in the U.S. To give birth to our child but was denied a visa, fast forward I want to visit the USA now and I want to apply for a visa but my major challenge now is that we are yet to offset the hospital bill as we opted for a payment plan such that it will be convenient for us though we have paid over $8000 since the birth was through Caesarian operations. Please can I apply now.
You need pay that bill because u have been denied once. More question is going to crop up. It's a 50/50 chances because the VO will surely ask about your wife and kid and receipt of payment. Only an understanding VO will approve your visa because u are on a payment plan. You can give it a try
