Electricity will not go out of style anytime soon. Plus, Tony has just collected $100m Afrexim loan to inject in any company of Heirs Holding he wishes. Aliko collected $1b for Dangote Group... The sharks of africapitalism, but you can swim with them thro the nse. |

Investnow2017:Abi na bicus what..... ? The market is not sure if evansmed is still a going biz or not. I can't remenber when last they released a result, and each time I want to offer my holding for sale, the itrade engine will notify me that evansmed is undergoing delisting. Not quite sure what happens to a stock after delisting, but I'm sure that's not the experience a jijoist wished for. |
Count Herbert Wigwe and Access Bank out if you're looking for a bank to raid for your non performing loot (NPL). If you run back to your village in United Arab Emirate, he will pursue you to that place. http://thenationonlineng.net/1-2b-etisalat-debt-banks-consider-legal-action-core-investor/?utm_source=Nairametrics+Newsletter&utm_campaign=3b07897937-EMAIL_CAMPAIGN_2017_04_25&utm_medium=email&utm_term=0_c96c21e814-3b07897937-62584625 |

emmanuelewumi:Sued him for for THE GLOBAL FINANCIAL MELTDOWN? Have we forgotten how the market crashed here and around the world? And did he never tell them to do their own dd and 'follow their own heart' ? Then people who made money from his recommendations before the market crash would have paid his legal fees. Most recommendations by him and other gurus were good according to the market drumbeat and sentiments of those heady days. |

yom2:Please where does the Abayomi write now? I miss stockswatch. The Earning Reports summary on the back cover would show me at a glance where the next scramble or stampede would occur. |
Ifeann:I use morgan, and my former house before itrading appeared. In terms of itrading I'm yet to hear of a better platform than morgan in nigeria. However, emmanuelewumi is an institution unto himself in this business so I advise you contact those reputable organizations he mentioned above to see which one suits your needs. |
maishai:My brother, if Govt wants to bail out etisalat, they should just give Herbert and co their money, matter finished. Bank loans are not your share of the national cake. Herbert is too young to risk going down the routes of Ibru, Erastus, Adigwe and others. I used to think that foreign investors haul in their own money. Never knew they only come in to loot local banks, and then bolt when things turn awry. I also strongly endorse Herbert's no-nonsense approach. You cant villify, and even prosecute bank managers for recklessness and bad luck in lending, and then turn again and blame them for ruthlessness in risk management and loan recovery. As far as I'm concerned, etisalat investors are on their own here, no matter how "systemically important". My tax money should never be used to bail out private sector misfortunes, or possibly, even malfeasance. |
veecovee:Endorsed, and redirected to all BNSITL. Lets gird our comments with tact and sensitivity. Words of consolation are like flattery, always comforting and healing to hear, even when yyou know the person is saying those things just to console you. My yesterday response to locodemy's cry on his diamondbank (mis)adventure refers. |
ukay2:Morgan is like a woman that cooks good food,,but with not so pleasant manners. People will complain and threaten because of her rudeness and brashness......................... May even boycott her shop for some time....................................... But in the end still find reason to return because of, make no mistake, the richness of her food. Which is no licence, Morgancapital, in case you're viewing....................................... You must, repeat, you must improve your on customercare service. In fact, by the level of mention you receive here everyday, you need to maintain a very active handle here, continuosly attending to issues raised here by your clients'....70% of your clientele, including myself, came to you thro this thread, not by your marketing efforts. |
locodemy:Be strong. The tide will return. Q2 results bull is your insurance. |
locodemy:Loco, understand my point. Maybaker rally was triggered by good solid news, and the rally may not be over yet. I got in at 3.40 and have not sold. But I was talking of Neimeth which is showing signs of starting a rally too, that there may be nothing to their own other than mere bandwagon effect or 'follow-follow' action. |
PharmAlfred:In the NSE there can be smoke without fire. I think some jijoists, intoxicated by their maybaker jackpot, are attempting to use their loot to invent another healthcare sector rally. |
stcool:List a loss spinning company? Will NCC give the banks their money? Public money is not for flushing down into corporate cesspits. They should quickly sell the network to Mike amd his glo. Or if Access Bank chooses to 'ruin' it themselves, we'll still have glo and mtn to make our calls. |
jamace:Besides the general bullish atmosphere, the tide lifting all boats and all that, this may have contributed : http://www.thisdaylive.com/index.php/2017/06/16/naicom-approves-accounts-of-32-insurance-firms/ |
currentprice:Zendi is okay, only distracted from daily market watching for a while. Tanx for enquiring about your brother. Same tanx to all members that work to keep nsempa active. Your efforts remain highly cherished. |

locodemy:Loco i dey oo dey hail. There is jijo money to be made this results season. |
PETERiCHY:Trump victory bull did not reach our market, why should the post inauguration bear, real or imagined? In any case, we already have a stronger bear on duty here. |
locodemy:They're making it, don't mind all the militant news. 224 oil trading companies from around the world came for the bidding process out of which only 38 succeeded. You think those local and international companies did not do their due diligence, or are not aware of the ND militancy? With all the militant news, you will still see them all come back to compete for next year's contracts. |
ihedioramma:Good news, brother. Occasional breaking of pipeline is how we enjoy exemption from making opec cut. One love. ![]() |
This is what's holding oil from reaching even $60. I'm not sure opec planners understand the problem they're dealing with. https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2017-01-16/as-opec-acts-on-its-new-year-s-resolution-u-s-shale-pumps-away |
Chibuking81:A great page, but the 17th page ahead will the real historic junction where the current year and page will intercept. Locodemy and co are working hard to accelerate us there. So, happy page 2017 in advance. |
angelo82:That long foretold km100 here we come at last in Oando Bus. ![]() |
DeRuggedProf: austinkenneth:Brother 'kenneth, please tell those 'manipulators' that Oga Zendi appreciates their efforts, and that I equally need their services on stdinsure, evansmed and intennegins, places where I'm currently trapped. ![]() Translation: nobody can manipulate a stock that is not hot and attractive in the first place. |
debeey87:yes, routine kyc thing, i suppose. |
Terrible! my eyes playing tricks? Somebody/people just dumped tens of millions of oando crashing it to 4.36 ? If one should JI now will the dumper strike again? |
janellemonae:Good post. Many people whinning here do not understand this business. Govt has not gifted or "dashed" portions of the nation's oil to these people. In this era of chronic oil glut, these companies are actually helping Nigeria find takers for the oil. making money as commission from the buyers and not any discount from the govt. NNPC does not give discount on these allocations. Every barrel is fully paid for according to the prevailing international market price. The lifting companies make money from the buyers and not at the expense of Nigeria. Above all, participation is available to all thro the Nigeria Stock Exchange. Anybody can start lifting crude oil right now by accumulating the shares of oando, mrs and eterna oil which are freely availalable. |
Chibuking81:That debt tends to annul every good news that comes to Oando. The better route to exploit this crude oil lifting news is lowly Eterna. Eterna got the same lifting alloocation as Oando...32,000 barrels daily'. And we have a born-again Eterna. It used to be 'chop-alone' Eterna, but is now dividend paying. |
