The brent surge was attacked by profit takers over the night.
And that poured cold water on Oando.
But brent is fighting back right this moment, and Oando is likely to close strong.
As simple as that to me.
People trade Oando, Seplat....with one eye on brent.

What is this one saying...Even the shale producers need a price rebound to recover for the losses during the dip. As such I don't see any major fall in the price for now as most commodity traders are long on oil futures which guarantee sustainability in the price increase ....

Shale producers should not recover, that is key.

Their recovery will frustrate the efforts of opec and their non opec friends to reign in glut and boost prices.

The effects of shale oil production used to be felt 14 days after a major rally in oil prices, but now due to technological breakthroughs and innovations it takes about 4 days to feel the impacts of shale production.

Which means they're inventing better and better means to produce profitably at lower and lower market prices.

You understand perfectly the problem.
Which means the loonng term destination of crude is southish.

In the short term however, and for we Oando/Seplat jijoists, $60 crude oil is certainly far better than $40+.

ObaGadaffi my friend, do not allow indebtedness to becloud your analysis with regards to Oando ooo.
Higher oil prices will help them pay up those debts faster.

I dey project $100/barrels of Brent crude oil before 31 December 2016.

The Indians are wise in having nigeria crude oil deal last 2 months.

The bolded will be counter productive..

Anything above say $70 will re-energize our (opec) rival producers, the shale ind and take the market
back to the oil glut we're trying to reduce.
That's why the opec and non-opec meeting goers did not propose an even deeper production cut.

I'm hoping that 60-70 dollar crude oil will re-awaken the Oando post COP deal rally that is yet to happen.

JIJO has nothing to do with MC suspension. I know of many brokers who have done mistakes while bidding for stocks, they only get warned and nothing more.

If any 'mistake' attracts warning, then its bound to attract sanction if it persists.

For your information, jijo is not an offence to either SEC or NSE.When you Jijo, you make more money for SEC, CSCS, NSE,TELCOS and the STOCK BROKING FIRM.

From what we've been hearing, it appears succession matter is not the only issue holding them.
I recently heard of an infraction called deceptive trading pattern.
Jijo is not an offence, but there may be ways of practicing it that the NSE frowns on.

So fidelity (soon to be joined by diamond) has become confortabe with life under N1.
There is something positive in every situation.
Looks like this morgan suspension is God's cure for what fxuser called our struggle with itchy fingers.

I believe anybody now selling eterna under 5 is throwing gold away.
Not just the size of the corporate action but the symbolism of the act.
It's directors have broken their 'chop-alone' mentality.
Add to the conciseness of its OS and the bullishness of the oil downsteam sector,
and even 10 is not a medium term impossibility.
But I could be missing some unknowns, so, buyer beware.

Please let a member in the VI area pay a fact-finding visit to SEC office over the morgancapital case.
Mission is to find out the true nature of the problem and if resolution is anywhere in sight.

The office is off Adeola Odeku St, near Mike Adenuga's bullish tower.
You may need to deploy your monkey trading skills to get past the security and inquiry desks to see the person handling the case, or you could be sent back to go and petition SEC officially.

I'm not currently located in lagos or I would have long done this.

This is very serious. Come to think of it, most firms that had been suspended in time past still had customer access to monies deposited. This one is quite strange, they just locked up customers money.

it takes a bit of time like a month or 2, Your stocks will end up hanging in the air and by then morgan would have resolved their issues,You stock will not settle and it will be in cscs which you cant trade on.

Maybe by the time it eventually settles, the house you are moving it to might be placed on (its own) suspension for one reason or the other.
