HeyCorleone: I am not Igbo but it is very obvious that there is some ulterior motive for not allowing Biafra become independent. It's so obvious. These guys are more important to this country than we can imagine, otherwise why do you think it's difficult to let these people be independent?
The reason why the federal forces fought so hard between 1967-1970 was not because they love to see Nigeria as one but rather the Oil that was in Biafra. If Biafra had nothing of any consequence they would have since gotten their independence. You may be right but do you actually think that if a Yoruba group tries something like that, they will spared? Of course not! They'll equally be met with stiff oposition from the government. One of the aims of Boko Haram is to carve out a territory for themselves but they are facing resistance. Think about that. Every part of the country is important and if we don't want a situation where states are at loggerheads, we must ensure peace and unity. |

OlujobaSamuel: nice, the senate just dey make law, they sabi no law. The constitution permits anyone to send a legal representive on any issue except for criminal case, the IG is not the one queried but the police force, why cant they accept any rep of the NPF that is in position to give ans on the subject matter, why must it be the IG, like i asked earlier, if the IG die on his way to the senate, will the senate stop the investigation against the NPF? I hope the senate will not consider this response by the ppro too since it's not by the IG, if they do, then they have no moral reason to insist for his physical appearance as this is is representation also and not a direct statement from him. I like your line of argument. Nice one Let's wait and see if the senate will respond to this statement from the same NPF they have been summoning and which has been responding the summons. If they react, then they are foolishly contradicting themselves. |

Crixina: I'm asking this question with all amount of curiosity. Pls someone educate me. I don't seem to understand how the America president has a say in what goes on in other sovereign nations especially in Third world Countries. I really got curious when it was in the news how Trump is battling Israel's capital to be in Jerusalem. Is there some kind of charter that dictates this? Don't mind guys that forget that Nigeria is a sovereign nation and makes decisions by itself. The prominence of the US lies in it's economic and military might. This allows it to influence decision making through intimidation, sanctions and threats. It's level of influence varies from country to country. In countries where there is economic and security crises and conflict, it often has a upper hand e.g. Syria, Israel, Afghanistan etc. But in relatively stable and economically viable countries, it's influence is weaker e.g. India, Mexico, and ofcourse Nigeria. Hope this helps. |

1) One is well educated, one is certificate less.
2) One is a successful business man, one is a failed business man.
3) One is fighting terrorism, one is promoting terrorism.
4) One improved his country economy, one destroyed his country economy.
5) One says truth, one is a liar.
6) One has a good team, one has a very bad team.
7) One puts country first, one put his tribe first.
One a true human being, one is a cloned being.
9) One does not persecute critics, one hates critics.
10) One is not corrupt, one is corrupt but a pretender.
11) One is Democratic, one is autocratic.
Kindly add yours my people. Chop knuckle, your head dey there! |

Business › Re: Angola Overtakes Nigeria As Owner Of Most Battered Oil Currency by ZeOptimist(m): 8:30am On Apr 13, 2018 |
SalamRushdie: Buhari Naira clearly fits into both brackets square and fair so what's your problem? First of all, it's Nigerian naira not Buhari naira. Then the Kwanza, in reality, does not have more value than the Naira. The official value is different from what is really obtainable in the market. Angola is only trying to forcefully defend her currency. Finally, your insistence that the naira is really worst on earth is quite derisive and unreasonable considering that there are many currencies having an exchange rate of over 1000 even up to 10000 to the dollar. |

SalamRushdie: When I said in the past that under Buhari the Naira was the worst performing currency on earth some zombies argued and now we can all see I was right..Even though the Angola currency performed in short run worse than the Naira, in the long term the Buhari Naira is a far worse performer and that's why the Angola Kwanza still has more value than the Buhari Naira Bros, as a student of English, I think you ought to know that 'worst performing currency on earth' is quite different from 'most battered oil currency. Be reasonable |
