If it is to make money disappear then I will agree with you but to make nairaland disappear is an uphill task 4 him!
Baba has many acolytes who will pillage and annihilate and torment whomever toys with his interest within and outside Nigeria and its govt(in Africaoo). So it's never a task as far as baba is concerned. Against?

CelebritiesRe: Eedris Abdulkareem Calls Obasanjo A ‘Mugu’ by ZeusI: 4:00pm On Sep 02, 2012
Jonathan should arrest eedris for making such comment. I, despite everything said, regards Obasanjo as a great man, in fact, he is the greatest politician ever produced in Africa, and also my mentor in politics. Which is why i do not refute the claim that he has an igbo blood running in his veins. Look at a riff-raf calling an esteemed citizen 'Mumu'.
PoliticsRe: Orient Petroleum Oil Blocks Are also In Igga, Enugu, Not Anambra As They Claim by ZeusI: 3:35pm On Sep 02, 2012
alasibanz: @Marocguy, you are very silly.
Have you forgotten last lesson from my community. Keep on spreading lies. For your information,
Aguleri land mass is 1/5 of the entire Anambra State. Anambra forest reserve is situated in Aguleri. Aguleri bordered kogi and Enugu state.
Settlement of unskilled workers in Igga is temporal till permanent site is built.
You called Aguleri Otu, a farming camp settlement? Keep on spreading lies till you invite ethnic cleansing. We are ready any time any day.
Your ancestor could attest to that.
We have document of Onitsha District/Idah District in 1927 when border demarcation was settled by Idigo II, when Aguleri was under Onitsha District.

"·R.A. IDIGO in 1927: Participated impressively in the demarcation and settlement of the Onitsha / Idah districts boundary, between Aguleri Otu, Anam on the one side and Ibaji on the other, led by Chief Ochollor in the Northern Provinces an exercise which extended the boundaries of Aguleri and indeed Eastern Nigeria to the present day Kogi State."

Efforts of our great ancestors must be defended with the last drop of our..... We as the host community is not even happy that oil was found in our land, as it is going to deprive us food and fishes that has kept us healthy from generation to generation. Evacuation of Igga is not even up to a day job. We are warriors!!!!
If you are a warrior community, you should use that to oppose your enemies(non-igbos), not to fight your fellow igbos. There is oil in eastern Nigeria period. Let our secret but envious admirers(ofe-ose) hang themselves, igbos are never dependent on any body or thing but themselves, the crude oil will only empower us the more, and before long, 90% of Igbos will be millionairs. And then, we shall prepare for the revenge mission. But for now let's live together as the brothers we are. Please.
PoliticsRe: Orient Petroleum Oil Blocks Are also In Igga, Enugu, Not Anambra As They Claim by ZeusI: 3:14pm On Sep 02, 2012
chino24: That eddiot called Abagworo has always been a monster and doesn't feel happy with himself on anything concerning Anambra, Its a known fact.

Ohakim and parrot Rochas has heavily misappropriated whatever they receive from federation acct, it will not be the same with Anambra. Peter Obi is a planner and focused governor who has continued to create enabling ground in Anambra for foreign and local investors to thrive.

Aside that the oil and gas deposits in Anambra is the second largest after Rivers and Bayelsa states, so the deposit in imo state is a fallacy and kids toy.

The benefits Anambra will have is double pronged, one they will be listed as one of the oil producing states, two they are given Anambra a brand new oil and gas refinery which will further make Anambra a major destination just like Abuja, Lagos and PH.

The Anambra Orient Pet.Refinery alone will give Anambra people and other SE people massive employment benefits, which will in turn further boom Anambra economy.

The eddiot is almost developing blood pressure each time he see Anambra taking the lead just like as always.
Hia! Umu igbo kwanyere'nu onwe unu ugwu, nyabu, unu ahapugo ndi ezi na agbazi onwe unu mgba. Ana-mbara, Enu-ugwu, Imo, Abia na Ebonyi bu otu, obu otu nna musara anyi. Ka'nyi kwusi imebo onwe anyi ebe'a doo nu.
PoliticsRe: Orient Petroleum Oil Blocks Are also In Igga, Enugu, Not Anambra As They Claim by ZeusI:
tunnytox: As a yoruba man I personally will not celebrate any oil find in my area, Oil is nothing but a curse to Nigeria. Most contributors already celebrating/arguing/fighting about this new found oil should think twice, the enviromental degradation that comes with oil exploration and extraction is enormous and judging by the antecendents of past Nigerian govt most host communities usually have nothing to show for it.

My advise: better look for job or something to do to improve your life and that of your communities, I will celebrate the establishment of a new multinational factory, agriculture etc but not oil.
That, is consoling word of a hopeless man. If Igbos are discussing their own issues all non-igbo should vamoose, savvy? Besides, no tribe/race fares better than Igbos financially as far as Africa is concerned.

PoliticsRe: Orient Petroleum Oil Blocks Are also In Igga, Enugu, Not Anambra As They Claim by ZeusI: 2:41pm On Sep 02, 2012
chino11: Why are you taking you time to enlighten him? Enugu does not have any oil, infact what they called oil is the under ground over spill from Anambra oil wells.

There is no sense in accommodating enugu state in the Orient development plan as they are doing in Anambra because there is no part of enugu either Igga is in the oil enclave.

You enugu people should go and harness your coal and help yourselves out with that, because the developments, royalties and benefits will always be paid to Anambra communities where oil and gas exploration takes place and not Enugu.
Guy, enugu is our brother-state(blood brother, if i must say), and every eastern state, i assure you, is blessed with crude oil, please, 'okwu umu nwanne na'ka mma na ime obi(palace), biko ka anyi kwusi igba onwe-anyi mgba doo'.
PoliticsRe: Orient Petroleum Oil Blocks Are also In Igga, Enugu, Not Anambra As They Claim by ZeusI: 2:06pm On Sep 02, 2012
marocguy: I hope this makes front page to inform the whole NL about some misinformation anambra state govt and orient refinery give out concerning the oil blocks on the anambra river block.
1. Most,if not all of the oil blocks belong to my community, igga in uzo uwani lga. Part of which is stretched to our boundaries with anambra and enugu states.
2. Orient petroleum has refused to include my community in its investment plan, rather refering to us as 'feedstock in OPL915 and 916' which they acquired.
3. They didnt pay compensation or even consult our community before engaging on exploration they started last year which is still going on with the base for the exploration company in my neighbourhood at my community.
4. Orient petroleum did not conduct EIA,environmental impact assesment as they did on their refinery sites in nearby border towns in anambra nsugbe, aguleri n co before commencing exploration.
5. No corporate social responsibility package lyk it was done to the anambra refinery hosts.
They are on their plan to exclude and claim the oil wells visibly after ignoring protest letters from my town.
Pls nairalanders,as the head of a youth group in the community,i am required to lead the fight. So far i have been calming tensions down. I wouild require any advice,or help anyhow. I have been trying to get good legal advice, especialy on the basic responsibility of oil companies to host communities. We are holding an emergency meeting i am chairing tomorow. I will be grateful to any who can advice proffesionally. My group may not even mind a legal assistance from a reputable legal firm or environmental agency/NGO help. Thanks.
Hahaha i thank those who relaxed the news thus, to pacify your bleeding minds and hearts while Anambra walks with it shoulders high before your state as OIL PRODUCING STATE.

Obiagu1: Now they've realised what I have been saying. It's not too late to know your history and stop running around in circles.
However, regional autonomy is not enough, Yorubas are not Nigerians and they should leave completely.

Enough of this attachment.
..... With one condition: they must leave their land, AGREED?
PoliticsRe: Yoruba Demand Regional Autonomy, State Police by ZeusI: 12:03am On Sep 02, 2012
Desola: but they are not going all out declaring Oodua country and going ahead to print their own currency are they? They are forging a semi-autonomous state in a republic. Why must they go to war to achieve that? War might only occur if this regional regeneration idea is really a secession bid like Biafra was.
I dey laugh!

PoliticsNigerian Population. by ZeusI(op): 10:59pm On Sep 01, 2012
I keep wondering what tribe is the most populous tribe in Nigeria, between Igbo, Hausa and yoruba, not including the minority ethnic groups attached to them. I feel with the above criteria, Hausas are not actually the most populated when the Fulanis and most other minority northern states and towns are excluded. What about the Igbos and yorubas? If any reliable source is available, it would be very helpful and appreciated, and please no exchange of words, calling of names and tribal sentiments should be used. Let's act respectfully please.

Seun: @hoodboy: I apologize for acting in a way that can be construed as snobbish and disrespectful, but I can't keep up. I'm sorry.

Quite a few people seem to have an issue with ethnic comments. I'll deal with them later. Thanks for pointing my attention to that.
Good, so when should we commence on the reporting? Because frankly speaking, some persons up-here elicited the act of tribal sentiments in me, thus: resentful comments, but, i assure you, i am very versatile in adapting to changes, i was trained for war as well as in diplomacy, i can be polite as well as rude. If tribal sentiment could be reported, i will begin reporting right away, seriously.
Nairaland GeneralRe: Thread For Reporting Pages With Bad Words And Pictures by ZeusI: 9:12pm On Sep 01, 2012
Seun: Dear Nairalanders,

If you come across any public page on Nairaland with dirty words/pictures or discussing sex or sexual body parts,
or links to bad sites, please post a link to the page on this thread so it can be cleaned immediately by a moderator.

Thanks a million! This is a special experiment.
Hope no partiality will be used should a case of anti-tribal comment be posted and is therefore reported, that is if it is included, and it should. What says you to that, Mr. Seun?
