Dear solomon, there is only one rule in politics(universally): 'Be a lion and a fox'. Follow one; you will come to grief. Politics world-wide is the same, it only depends on how good you hide your 'iron fist under the velvet glove'.

Dear Afam4ever, i must tell you that i have an unyielding ambition to be a politician, though not a figure head type(councilor, L.G Chairman, Gov, and President) for they tend to suffer criticism the most, but a virtual leader(State& National houses of assembly or Party paragons). 1st. Rule of religious, public administative offices, or politics. Advice: 'Do not believe in what you say, and never say what you belive in'. 2nd. ' Better be feared than loved'(if you wish to live long). 3rd. 'Wear the velvet glove'. 4th. 'Learn to use both enemies and friends'. 5th. 'Let your only reason to disobey the contents of the constitution be to usurp power, in other cases, observe it'. Just a tip, in politics, the deeper and longer you get and stay, the deadlier you become.
