Politics › Re: Dangote Monopolising Power Distribution At Ikorodu by ZeusI: 3:42pm On Aug 26, 2012 |
slightlyMad: We trooped down to Nepa office at Ikorodu because for the past 2 months every corner in Lagos has been enjoying stable power supply We residents of Irawo along Ikorodu road Lagos have been spending everyday fueling our generators. We gathered, headed to Ikorodu where the distribution comes from and were told by some staffs there that Dangote, yes the same bully, has paid off their top bosses to fund his ikorodu plant steady power
so they resorted to use Irawo's supply to fuel Dangote as our area is filled with lazy landords who wont complain, Imagine, no landlord association, no nothing, each man to himself. I am posting here because i am very very angry, in short am fuming and can not even think straight. I spend 1000 naira daily to fuel my small gen, so does everyone around.
My question is, Why will a successful company like Dangote decide to make me pay heavily to fuel his company so he could climb up on Forbes? for close to 2 months now, that is -60,000 naira from my pocket, Please i need advice before i do something crazy.
Please admin, move this to frontpage please? My friend SlightlyMad, you simply should keep mum and indure, strive to build yourself to be great as Dangote, that is Igbocracy(the principle of self-dependent and patience). Any rash action may prove fatal dear friend. |

Celebrities › Re: Why Are Nigerians Hosting Award-Shows In The US? by ZeusI: 3:07pm On Aug 26, 2012 |
Lady Nasa: Abeg, I have a question.
WHY IS IT THAT NIGERIANS ARE NOW HOSTING MOST OF THEIR AWARDS HERE IN THE USA? They organize awards, look for a location in any of the states here and bam! It's on!
We have so many places in Nigeria n even in Africa where they can host these shows...why America bikonu... why are we so desperate for Hollywood attention?
If we produce good movies, they will find us like Bollywood.
The movies we are talking abt are Africans movies, not American movies. Hollywood has never had any of their award shows outside the USA....NAIJA, SMH..... They disire limelight, as would anyone, Nigerian environment is probably too opaque to host such grand event. |

Politics › Re: Why Not Ojukwu's Face On The N5000 Proposed Note? by ZeusI: 2:23pm On Aug 26, 2012 |
Ileke-IdI: Ojukwu is a Biafran, not a Nigerian. Master Idi-amin, Ojukwu said one thing when he was alive, 'the Biafra we fought for was the Biafra of Igbos, but the Biafra we should fight for, now, is the Biafra of Nigeria'. Ojukwu will feel bitter if he finds out that his portrait is depicted in Nigerian ferculent currency-notes. But soon, Igbos, like Ojukwu prophecised, will possess Nigeria and rule their enemies with the fist of bronze and Iron; and subject them to life of servitude, that time my dear IDI, will be the time of Biafra of Nigeria. |
Politics › Re: Trouble Over Ojukwu's Estate by ZeusI: 1:47pm On Aug 26, 2012 |
The fact is that Igbos will continue to prevail, no matter what anyone does, dude you may have the singular option of hanging yourself, and your little possession, if you happen to possess one, will be taken by the greedy Igbos and on and on we shall lord over all you and your wreched tribe owns, till we finally enslave all who ever despised us. Poor man of the poor tribe. |

Why is it so hard for most yorubas to desist from Tribalism? Can't we for once discuss Nigerian problem? You call Igbos greedy nation, yet, you study and work to make money. Nonsense! |
