Christianity EtcRe: Imo Youths Lock Out Bishop-elect by ZeusI: 11:26pm On May 22, 2013
Abagworo: Most of you are ignorant of this issue and should 1st of all study the entire situation before commenting. You cannot have a particular session imposing themselves on others for nearly 80years and claiming justice. This might be the beginning of the end of Catholicism in the Southern Igbo area if the issue is not handled with care.
You might as well question God's fairness in 'Justice' on why the whites(Europeans/ West) has been ever supreme over the black race. And don't you ever involve 'IGBO' in such inane gibberish you just scribbled.:@
PoliticsRe: Jonathan Orders Release Of Detained Terrorists by ZeusI: 11:40pm On May 21, 2013
YorubaFirst: This action betrays the rumor that the State of Emergency is a success. If the SoE is a success then GEJ has earned political and military advantage to force bokoharam into tight-end negotiation. He should not be in a hurry to yield grounds to them. That negotiation should include in the minimum the following top three demands:

1. that Shekau and the top leadership of boko must surrender, their field operations in Nigeria and command posts must be decommissioned and submitted to authorities

2. that a rehabilitation programme be setup and they must accept the guidelines of the programme

3. that their women and children will be released in exchange for investigation and prosecution of their active male members.
Looks more like a fable where a hunter seek to negotiate with a hungry tiger on its captured buffalo in exchange for a bullet to the tiger's leg for killing the buffalo. Ridiculous terms there...

Notorious criminals are given esteemed attention this days(steal a little; you go to cell, steal a lot; you become a king). And why talk of 'Amnesty' instead of declaring 'State of Emergency' in the affected areas? GEJ, Remember 'Ogoni land' scenario:@

PoliticsRe: Nigerian Anthem Sang Before South-Africa's Anthem in Capetown by ZeusI: 7:38pm On May 07, 2013
Nigerians are always proving their illitracy in matters like this, in a thread like this, before the whole wide world like this. So if Obama yawns, with his mouth agape, in public -- on a formal occasion, Nigerians will consider it the etiquette en vogue and expect our president to act likewise? Eh-kwa? Our culture must be preserved! If U.S wishes to sing Nigerian anthem first when Nigerian dignitarian visits that will be their business, in Nigeria, our anthem goes first! Critics, go hang yourselves!

PoliticsRe: Achebe's Burial On May-23 – South-East Governors Announce by ZeusI: 2:29pm On Apr 23, 2013
Okija_juju: Just bury the guy already!! Jeez!! angry

Africans make a fuss out of everything.

Magaret Tatcher died on the 8th of April, she was buried on the 17th of April.. 2013

Chinua Achebe Died on the 21st of March 2013.. Till now, he is yet to be buried.

Arrant nonsense.. Africans place so much priorities on the most irrelevant things.. They are prolly in meetings budgeting our limited and scare resources (whatever is left after their lootings) on how to block and stop all economic activities in all the Eastern states, parade his corpse all around town and build a useless edifice that they will name after him.

How about they simply dig the ground and lay him to rest.. Then let posterity honour him.

Can you define culture dude? Global formal education is currently a farce, they tend to discard culture and value while training a bunch of sightless and cultureless slaves!
PoliticsRe: My Writings And Okonjo-Iweala - Sacked NEMA Spokeman by ZeusI: 2:15pm On Apr 23, 2013
But, did Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala sack this guy? Did Shuaibu, or whatever his name is, write that she sacked him? Why do acclaimed literate class(which forms the majority in the southern region) in Nigeria the most myopic? Having no brain to comprehend the slightest reason behind actions, instead, they are swayed to and fro while those doing the swaying are the so called illiterates. The world is controlled by a bunch of bold illiterates who employ the selected but myopic literate ones to cover their(illiterate) tracks. I now see why professors are limited to academic institutions, and lawyers to interpreting the law made by uneducated but distinguished Senators. So rogues now directs the affairs of this country because our pack of feckless graduates are brainless....i de laughcheesy

PoliticsRe: My Writings And Okonjo-Iweala - Sacked NEMA Spokeman by ZeusI: 10:29am On Apr 23, 2013
paragonpro: Africans and Nigerians generally have a huge egocentric problem. When want our egos to be massaged regularly like a person with a masturbati0n addiction, it provides the same euphoric orgasmic feeling.

Why should a whole coordinating minister of the economy waste so much about the opinion of 1 person. It is even preposterous that the person is victimized for that opinion. No wonder "0ga at the top" syndrome pervades our work ethics and defines career progress, because every employee is not allowed to express a personal opinion but to ape or second guess the opinions of the boss.

The most honourable and sensible thing to to was for madam world bank to write a rejoiner disputing the opinion of the writer/accuser and people will see the follies in the accuser's argument.
Even when one systematically advocates a repetition of progrom against the Minister's race? You seem to be the next in line.
PoliticsRe: My Writings And Okonjo-Iweala - Sacked NEMA Spokeman by ZeusI: 10:11am On Apr 23, 2013
You see, the problem with Africans is that they try to imitate the West(Europe and U.S) while ignoring their culture, Africans tends to over-extend what privilage they are giving which is why they usually set up systems to curb and checkmate the authority of those they wish to confere certain positions on. Now, we can attest to my observation by considering how much abuse has been carried out by those in positions as well as those that were granted certain rights in our soceity. The passage of freedom of press in Nigeria is seeming a threat to those to whom it were meant to protect, imaging this young fellow abusing his talent, and the freedom of press's privilage just because he has been escaping from such shameful act as, image ternishing, with his previous victims and thought it will continue thus. When you think you are acting with a sincere intent upon a given self-assigned task, make sure you do not arouse the wrong attention or cause some social cataclysm. Your comment was to incite public hatred against Igbos, going so far as to cite as an example; the progrom of 1967, what do you expect? To have Hausa/Fulanis chasing Igbos again? You deserve more than just sacking. You are a racist and should face the worse, i've said it before and will be saying it again, 'anyone who thinks that what happened to Igbos will be repeating itself again should have a re-think', 'NEVER AGAIN!'.
