I have the same charging port issue but the Gionee office in port harcourt is charging me 7500 for the repair, the guy there said I didn't buy the phone directly from them. Am I supposed to pay?

Please my gionee s plus stoped charging, whenever it manages to charge the battery discharges very fast, sometimes it goes off by itself and when it comes back on it says calfree launcher has stopped working. Can anyone help me.
