The pain of the defeat in the last presidential election still lives with so many nigerians. Am not in the north east but with what I hear and read its clear the nigerian military is winning... Yes boko haram has been technically defeated!!!!! Does it mean they won't and can't attack? Hell no!!!!!! Even a France and belgium that are peace haven were attacked. Isn't it time we accept defeat and support what is good. Nigeria will be great again.

Everyone turning economists!!!! There is nothing you will do that people will not complain. The issues on ground as far as I can see is very enormous, it can't be solved in 3- 4years so what the government is trying to do is simple: while economic diversification and increased exports remain the permanent solution, all of that won't happen overnight. So the best thing to do in the interim is look for measures to ease pressure on the foreign exchange asleast in the interim(currency swap) while we hope that oil prices appreciates and then diversify to other areas.

Many people are pained not necessarily because PMB is president but because he is from the north. Very shameful of these losers, I trust PMB when he diverts total attention to the pipelines, power and fuel will be constant. I know some are hating because of my comments please save a life!!! They made too much unrealistic promises at a time when the outgoing govt made a mess of the economy. Onovo himself is part of the problem. He complains about borrowing to fund a 70% recurrent expenditure budget and turns around to blame the govt for promising 100,000 security jobs and delivering 10,000. How does he expect the govt to pay the salaries of 100,000 police officers if he doesnt borrow.
