exactly my thoughts. This one is still less than 2weeks old, am of the opinion you are not an employee kind of person but a business owner or just Being self employed but you can't do that due to lack of capital, I know what am talking about. I have left a job after just 6weeks even when tjere was none forth coming, I got another a year and 2 months later that was paying about half the former, in me I knew its not what I want but just for sustenance, am seriously working on being on my own cos I have learnt never to leave a job when there is non in sight,I hope by january next year iI would be on my own, being an employee makes me feel am in chains. Even if its a million a month.

I really think with all this news naija isn't in recession!!!! The bulk of illegal monies acquired are just sitting idle so nothing is moving. Under thge last administration the monies were working because stealing wasn't corruption!!!! PMB should just come out and say :: stealing isn't corruption and see how much will flow into our system!!! Do we know how many people have got monies stacked like this in their farms, soakaway and underground . Oil money is like drug money!! My advice for this administration is simple : put systems in place that will stop further rot to our already decayed system. Based on the name used, the account could not be linked to any known person and therefore, EFCC obtained court order to direct the bank to freeze the account and arrest anyone who comes around to transaction on the account. This court order is then served on the bank.
It now turns out that the owner of the account is FFK's mistress. The Teller that wanted to pay opens the account to pay and he sees the instructions on the account. he escalates to his boss at the branch and that one escalates to Compliance unit in their Head Office. The compliance Unit then get in touch with the EFCC operative whose contact was provided in the freezing order notification.

While all these are going on, the bank may choose to use delay tactics for the customer depending on their level of intelligence or use the police, who are usually deployed for security function to banks to arrest the customer as stated in the court order. The EFCC operative will now give directive to bank on how to handle the Customer.

Basically this is the complete background picture that newspaper reports will not provide in their news reporting.

This event take place everyday across the country and across the world. I therefore don't see why it is a big deal. It's unfortunate these so called public figures always play victim card when the law is enforced against them capitalising on the gullibility of the masses.
