@Foyeks2001 I like d way you having been replying comment.. ...even when people attacked you, u took it in good faith and explain yourself, u come off as a matured and easy going person thumps up. D comment made by your hubby to your request got me cracking up lol.. ....reminded me of what my dad use to sometimes tell us in those days when he was broke and we ask him for money lol
Family / Re: "My Husband Abandoned Me And My Children" - Nigerian Lady Demands For Divorce by zibiah: 6:25am On Mar 06, 2018
@charain I understand what you are saying and it keeps baffling me.. ...must hardworking and successful ladies are not married and I wonder why. Social media and most people you interact with mock and despise house wives or stay at home mum so logically you expect that successful ones should be in high demand but the reverse is the case.
Some women who are doing well financially and have careers attain that status in marriage and not before. I have 2 friends that are successful and have good jobs, decent ladies n not yet married they are both 36 years it so sad and annoying. Guys Pls practice what you preach ....you don't want liability then don't go for it

Family / Re: Why Husbands Leave, Part 1: Significance by zibiah: 10:30am On Jul 27, 2013
@debrief I wish I cld give u a big hug right now, cos u are so real and practical I remember that thread of iamsave n d way she was been attacked n blamed seriously as if they knew her personally. Atleast from what she has written now we are beginning to understand better the kind of man she is with.
Am still wondering what kind of quarrel will make a man leave his wife n child from almost a year( and yet some ppl said dat he is justified) except there is threat to his life even in that situation he can still get across to his child.
@ iamsaved I am begging u in God's name pls take it easy with ur health, I am also pregnant with my first, n even though the pregnancy has been easy on me I still knw how it feels sometimes. Cos of d care n attention my hubby gives me I hadly ve that mood swing experience by some but I still get soooo tired sometimes n emotional.
You re a strong woman jst hang in there and let some posters has said nothing wld happen if u refuse to do some chores n jst take the needed rest. Ask ur mum n siblings for help too they would understand more than you knW, take care of urself it is very important

@acidosis as if u know wat is going thru my mind right now. Am heavy and am almost due n d fear griping me as am reading dis thread is sometin else. My hubby has begged me to stop reading it but I can't help mysef. I keep coming back hoping to read more pleasant experiences
So far with God's grace n mercy my pregnancy has been smooth n without any incidence n I jst pray n hope dat it continues like dis even at delivery without any complications.I read a lot n keep asking my doc for clarification on any issue dat could arise n he has been forthcoming in his response.....I jst hope he displays same competence, due deligence proper care during my delivery
Family / Re: When Can A Nigerian Woman Divorce Her Husband? by zibiah: 5:49pm On May 23, 2013
@Dayokanu am beginning to get a little bit confused with ur views. I quiet understand n agree with ur stand dat a woman should be financially independent n ve a source of income. But from ur last post are u saying dat a woman should not just make a living but must earn a particular amount of money b4 she can be respected and avoid abuse?
Looking at ur last analogy it is very possible for a woman to be abuse weather or not she earns an income, but she can only leave if she earns a substantial amount of income.......what really is ur point?
