Congrats to the GTs who were successful & to the GTs who didn't get APL, may God see u through. It's very painful & I must confess, I knw how such disappointment can be.
In 2007, I applied for NDA, RC (2nd time I applied). I passed & went to Kaduna for interview. Even though I was in 200L studying engineering in d university, I wanted to join d Armed Forces. I had 29 other fellow men from my state to contend with & of which NDA would pick 6. I was d only university student in camp from my state. There was a polytechnic guy that was later disqualified in camp because of his certificate (I guess it was too old cause there was a time frame). I passed d marathon, medicals etc. We went home after camp but I wasn't successful wen final names came. I contemplated suicide, walai. I mourned for months cos this was all I wanted. I almost failed in school. My 100L was a 4.2 GPA but 200L drew me down to 3.2CGPA. I had to move ahead & I bless God I did. Looking back at 2007, I thank God I was not on d final list & I don't want to join d Armed Forces again (for reasons best known by me). I thank God for who I am today.
The moral of the story is that: yes it is painful but God has a reason for everything. It's a difficult pill to swallow but I must say, ur greatness can come from everywhere. God bless u all.

When dey give the projects to contractors themselves, the projects almost become abandoned but when dey give the money to d institution to supervise d contractors, the project work schedule is either reduced almost by half (in some cases) or a shitty job is born at project completion. Different strokes for different folks. Many people fall under this category. The truth is not always sweet at all times but in my own opinion & based on my faith, I'll say:
Even though 1 has an irresponsible father who hated u & even drove u out of his house, I think it's best He not only gives ur Husband-to-be the bride price list, but also collect it (which in turn is shared by both his family & ur mums family as Na 2 pple get pikin). But in a case where the father refuses to play his role, I think the mothers family have every a reason to take d bride price.
Bride price I believe will be taken by mums family when the father is unknown.
I've even seen a situation where d girl wants her trad in her father's house but d mum refused & says it will b in her own house. Now d groom says he doesn't mind paying bride price to both father & mother but the father who was never there says that will b over his dead body. (The matter tire everybody)
