He's doing well but for the constant fatigue which is as a result of the surgery. I pray God will give us all pleasant surprises! |

Good evening my sweet and wonderful family.. I hope we are all doing well? Candygosh, xcelsia, Christine, tollu, osyxel, obinoscopy, hephzi, odunharry, and the newbies (hope I didn't forget any name?).. Lol... Okay I can't quote all posts but I hope to use this one stone to kill several birds. Truth is, even when I come on nairaland, I get really scared and emotional opening this thread, probably I'm struggling to accept some things or whatever, but even as I have opened the thread today and I've read thrpugh , the show of love still makes tears roll down my cheeks. 2sexi's friend's case as well makes my heart beat so fast.. I just wish! I wish! I wish we never had such ailments as this *tears* it is well...... After all God says he wouldn't give us more than we can bear? #phew! Like I told the family, we were to be at the hospital on Thursday, as we got there, the unionists were protesting and everywhere was locked! STRIKE!!!!! I wonder how long that is going to last? We ended up going back home. He told me he is having urine retention again? After the surgery Hmmm.. I'm so scared! The stress is much for him! As for the hook-up, its a nice idea, but I plead to be excused, I'm running so many things now that I don't have a 'me' time. Shuttling to drop of my kids at school, attend to daddy (at least so my mum could get some rest) isn't as easy. anyone in the house based in Ibadan? 1 Like |

Hephzi dearie, I can imagine when you talk about moods... Ur bald hair and all what not. Pls be strong for us and those who love you. Try and get anything at all that helps you to stay happy darling. Im giving u a bear hug now!!!! Yesterday was my birthday but we spent the whole day at the hospital. Dad had a serious relapse, he was half away and half alive! To eat sef, he couldn't have the strength... He is said to have anaemia and needs blood transfusion but those 'blood Bank' staff are on strike in UCH. We are giving him ugwu aggressively as he can't take milk again. We would be back there on Thursday. I pray God would heal all who feel pains in one way or the other. 1 Like |

2buff: Being a 'no-no sense' man doesnt work for every woman! You study the woman you have to know how to treat her! Some women would even get more stubborn with a 'no-nonsense' man's attitude. |

The Lord is your strength, @xcelsia, could you pls give your friend a big warm hug for me Though I'm not in this, but my dad was recently diagnosed with prostate cancer ... OP, please try and look inwards, almost every woman wants peace and love in her home... And would do everything within her reach to get it... But it gets to a point she feels the mab doesn't appreciate those things (maybe judging from his attitude) she reaches her elastic limit! Now, you don't have kids yet? Is there any underlying medical issue with you which she feels you knew about but his from her before marriage? Do you have sex regularly with her? Have you been cheating in her despite the fact that you are not as bouyant now? What restrictions have you given her which you feel could she isn't comfortable with and is causing her pain?? I know most times a lot of men use this 'gra gra' attitude to cover what they know deep within then that is the truth... Pls drop any ego, search yourself! And as for your wife, I hope she realises that words are like eggs... Once said, you can't take then back, and there's obviously going to be a negative effect even after things calm down.. she should learn to control her tongue! 1 Like |

My dear, I feel you.... I've been thru a whole lot in my marriage both emotionally and spiritually. Mine didn't show traits before marriage. I won't say I'm separated as such but I found a reason to stay far far away from his own city. I hardly ever think about him. I can't talk much on my experience.. But, cos of what I've been thru, I understand the plight of women in situations as this. How I wish men would put in as much effort as women do into making marriages work, it would be a very lovely place to be! Personally, I don't buy the idea of a second d marriage. The world is getting worse by the day! Before you do that, consider your kids o! Especially if you've got girls like I do. I won't ever trade their security for my selfish emotional reasons! Never! I pray God WL be with you at this trying moment. Even if you made a mistake in the past, which we all do at one point or the other, God WL show you mercy and favour... I wish I could give you a hug now.... It is well dearie. 6 Likes |
