My son travelled last week. He did a pre departure test and booked days 2 n 8 tests as well. However, when we got to the airport, they said he didnt need to do the test since he is below 18. This you will also see when you fill out the locator form. You only need a day 2
test upon arrival.
Note that he used Virgin airline.

As long as you have an appointment, just go like an hour before your appointment with your passport, copy of your appointment letter and evidence of payment.

That's my school, welcome onboard. Huddersfield is a cool city, accommodation is not too difficult to get.
As per jobs, yes you can even leverage on neighbouring cities like Halifax, Wakefield etc, that's what students do here.
The school is good academic wise, nice structures, good teaching facilities.

But the city no dey bubble like all those Liverpool them ooo na quiet town.

Hi guys, a lady friend of mine was married( traditional only, (no court or white wedding was done) with 2 kids and got separated about 7years ago.

She has been the one catering 100% for the kids, and she wants to apply for study in the UK and possibly take her kids along.
Note: she has enough evidence of her expenses on the kids, e.g receipts of school fees, hospitals etc.

1) Do they currently live with you?

Should I click no as she is in UK already.
When I clicked on no, it brought down where to fill in her address.

2) will they be traveling with you to the UK.

Should I click no as we well as she is in UK. Or yes as we are going to join her?

My husband wants to apply with our children as I have already gotten my Visa. The funds for there POF is already counting in his account, so regarding the financial permission letter,ie consent for the children to use the fund, is it my hubby that is going to write it since the fund is in his account?

8. Family Consent Form (As FINANCIAL EVIDENCE) - This is the third party declaration form required to be uploaded since the minors will not have POF in their names. This form is downloaded at the end of the application while completing the child dependant form. The parent whose name is on the bank statement will be the one to fill and sign this document

My congratulations is here. Only God has the final say. What God cannot do, does not exist.

This journey to japa started since 2017. We started with Canada express entry. We did everything required and entered the pool not knowing that being in the pool is not a guarantee of being picked. When we realised it could take eternity to be picked from the pool we decided to try the student route yet I got refused 3 times . That was how I gave up and decided to begin further studies here in 9ja first. However, I realized I was guiding and helping my friends and colleagues to move out of the country while I still remained in 9ja. I wasn’t bothered initially, but the situation of the country coupled with the spate of insecurity made us to rethink our future, especially because of our children.
Finally we decided to go through the UK student route...to cut long story short God came through for us, the whole process was seamless , where it seems it was going to be difficult, God showed forth and made it easy.

Family of 5 all submitted at the same time

Date of Biometrics : August 17th. We had appointment for one and paid for walk in for the remaining 4
Visa type: Paid for priority for main applicant and standard for others

Centre: Ikeja TLS

Collection Email: 26th August

School: Sheffield Hallam University

Passport picked up 27th Aug.for main applicant, my husband and one of my children. Got a non straight forward mail for one of the kids and to also resend her TB certificate few days after biometrics. Awaiting collection mail for the remaining two.

My appreciation especially to all who take their time to respond to questions in the group. I have been a silent reader but gathered enough information that helped me through this process. No agent was used .

Would there be consequences if I pick that 19th and arrive one week late post resumption? I am going to university of huddersfield.

But the issue is that my husband has four names (eg, okeke ugonna Williams ugo) in his passport, but his bank statement bears only 3 (okeke ugonna Williams) out of the 4 names.
Would it be a problem if he presents the statement showing only 3 names out of his 4 names?

Yes you can all apply together as long as you have sufficient funds(POF) to cover for everyone.

They won't accept it.
I was in same exact shoes in may. I uploaded an attestation letter from my school when my degree wasn't ready. but they refused, insisting I get the certificate.
Thank God there was time, I had to look for another school.

I was no 28 on today's walk in list, I wasn't able to do yesterday cos I came by 7am and my no was 59 on the list, so I got there by 5.56am today and I was lucky to be among the first 10 to enter despite being 28 on the list cos a lot of people went to sit after writing names, thereby giving the ones standing the opportunity to move in immediately the man came to pick first 10. I also noticed they were not following the list. The man first attended to people he collected there GWF nos the previous day before the once for today. It was stressful but it ended in praise.
Just be there by at least 5.30 if you want to be among the first 15. Even though standing for that long is not easy, try as much as possible to stand close to the gate, towards the left side that is meant for walk if your number falls with 1-20.
