They are in delusion. That is what delusion does to an individual in delusion! Delusion is a fatal phenomenon. Most, if not all, who are with Peter Obi are in delusion.

You are talking to a man who is inherently wrong. That is what delusion turns an individual into. It is a fatal phenomenon. When an individual thinks of himself more highly than he ought to he suffers perpetually from delusion which is a fatal mental health challenge. What makes it more fatal is that the victim never accepts he needs help until he or she is no more!!!!

Delta State has been stolen blind and serially raped economically by unconscionable and grossly ungodly political and traditional rulers acting in cahoots with a largely pliant populace whose mentality has been twisted and bent over by self inflicted poverty! Delta State is one of the richest States in Nigeria and has no reason to have poor public and educational infrastructure. Deltans wake up!

With this statement it is like this man is a weapon fashioned against our man. Well, just speaking as a southern Christian.
Peter Obi is his own worst enemy not Kwaks! Peter Obi, out of desperation, for the Presidency is in bed with an alleged terrorist who, on one hand stands for Hisbah Police for the advancement of Islam while on the other hand now opposes State Police meant to assure security for the ordinary Nigerian.

Clearly, Kwankwaso and Obi are not on the same page on several key issues. Notable among them is subsidy. Kwankwaso is clearly in favour of the return of subsidy while Obi is not. Obi was too hasty in taking a position on this. He should have consulted wide within his party before coming up with a unified position.

Peter Obi is politically unstable as water. He is not going to excel politically.

Kwankwanso was the Governor of Kano who introduced Sharia Law and Hisbah(Islamic Police) to the State. This same Kwankwanso is opposed to State Police whereas his principal, Peter Obi once said he is in support of it.
One big reason we should not vote for Peter Obi in 2027. In his blind desperation to be President he has taken on a character as his Vice-President who is completely different from his supposed outlook on critical issues such as State Police. When Kwaks wanted to establish Hisbah Police for the advancement of Islam Kwaks supported the idea of State Police. Now that Hisbah Police has been established in Kano State he is against State Police which is greatly required to have security for the ordinary Nigerian. We cannot have two captains in the same boat!

That is long in coming. I was waiting. One way to deal with corruption in Nigeria especially in the power sector is to have the private sector get more involved in the power business. It takes a businessman with clout and with the fighting spirit Dangote has to get in there and get the job done. Our experience with NITEL and the telecoms industry speaks volume about what to expect going forward. The typical investor whether Foreign Direct or not, strictly goes by what International Rating Agencies say about our economic environment. They follow the macro indices. Dangote goes beyond and notwithstanding that.

Politics › Re: Mambilla: ICC Tribunal Accuses Malami Of Acting Against Nigeria's Interest by zoedew: 2:14pm On Sep 22
FSBoperator:
Under Abubakar Malami (AGF & Minister of Justice, 2015–2023), Nigeria's legal position in the OPL 245 case was marked by a significant internal contradiction:

During the UK trial, JPMorgan's counsel highlighted that Malami had written to President Buhari in September 2017 stating there was "insufficient evidence to support allegations that the Resolution Agreements were part of a fraudulent and corrupt scheme" — the exact opposite of the case.

In a 2023 memo to Buhari, Malami acknowledged that Nigeria's prospects of winning the OPL 245 cases were slim and recommended terminating all related litigation so the country could convert OPL 245 to an OML and exploit the block while oil prices remained favorable.

Malami publicly prosecuted the case abroad while privately telling Buhari he doubted the evidence, and ultimately conceded the litigation was unwinnable.

This was Malami's hustle.

Get hold of pending corruption files and cases , reach a private "settlement" with those involved and then kill the case .
I recall how there was serious friction between them VP, Osinbanjo and Malami.

Osinbanjo has requested certain case files of ongoing international arbitrations to study but was outrightly denied by Malami.

It was this same Malami that exonerated a minister of petroleum and a high level Nigerian OPEC executive for the disastrous P&ID scandal .

The man was regulating corruption and not in any way fighting it.
Yet he presently seeks to contest public office. Civil Society Organisations should be busy shouting "thief" on his head in several Nigerian languages he and his family will so ashamed that he will become repentant and return his loot .

Politics › Malami Attempted To Steal From Nigeria By Deceiving President Buhari. by zoedew(op):
A former Honourable Attorney-General of The Federation and Minister for Justice, Mr. Malami attempted to steal from Nigeria by deceiving President Buhari to approve at least $200 million dollars to be paid on the Mambilla Power project.
https://www.premiumtimesng.com/business/business-news/910616-mambilla-how-malami-attempted-to-deceive-buhari-struck-corrupt-deals-with-adesanya-icc-tribunal.html

Civil Society Organisations who fight to ensure good governance should push this sort of news until it gets to the consciousness of all Nigerians including the neighbours of Malami and his village and village family relatives. It should be translated into all languages in Nigeria and regularly broadcast. The same should be done to folks convicted of corruption in Nigeria. The advantage to Nigeria is that it is a big step in keeping such thieves away from getting elected to office to steal more! The electorate will then know them for the criminals such politicians are and the shame will keep them away from running our affairs.

Makinde must stand against Tinubu to protect his political interests. According to Fayose, Tinubu told him directly in Aso Rock that he does not need Seyi to win. At the same time, Wike has openly declared his intention to wrest Oyo from Makinde’s control, making the stakes even higher.

The assumption that most Yorubas still support Tinubu is misleading. In reality, less than 40% want him to win. If Tinubu had performed strongly, it would have been politically suicidal for Makinde — or any Yoruba leader — to contest against him. But given Tinubu’s weakened standing, Makinde’s resistance is both strategic and necessary.
Well, the only way to prove your assertion that "most Yorubas still support Tinubu is misleading. In reality, less than 40% want him to win." is the result of the forthcoming Presidential Polls. While Yorubas, who feel as you allege, about Tinubu are entitled to their opinion, it is clear to the typical Yoruba person that Tinubu has, so far, done well both as a Yoruba person elected to serve as Nigerian President and as Nigerian elected to serve all Nigerians. The concrete roads he is constructing all over Nigeria especially the ones in Yorubaland and the macro and soon to be seen micro economic growth of the Nigerian economy as well as the great and undeniable improvement in electricity supply show that Tinubu is doing well as President and deserves to be so elected again for a second term. For fairly obvious reasons, it benefits the Yoruba if Tinubu is reelected and it does not benefit the Yoruba if he loses the election. Going by the recent electoral verdicts of the INEC in the Presidential elections a Tinubu loss is an Atiku win. Peter Obi is a third-position contestant while Seyi Makinde is not even on the cards AT ALL to win the Presidential elections. The likely effect of a Seyi Makinde contesting the Presidential elections is to reduce the votes of Tinubu and that benefits Atiku. Who loses in the long run if Atiku wins is Seyi Makinde himself, Tinubu, The Yoruba in that order! It is particularly worse for Seyi Makinde as he becomes ruined politically for life especially with the Yoruba his political base. He has a second address in the U.S. though but his father's house and compound in Ibadan cannot have a second address. If he thinks politically at all he should remember Samuel Ladapo Akintola, Omoboriowo, Akinjide, Akinloye, Kola Balogun et al who are classic examples of Yoruba politicians whose political decisions and affiliations stood opposed to the larger Yoruba interests and political affiliations. They all died lonely, forlorn and remain remembered particularly for betraying the larger Yoruba interests.

In the current political climate of the South West, his decision to contest the presidency under a new party is not about winning the national seat. Rather, it is a calculated strategy that echoes the footsteps of Tinubu. By positioning himself as the presidential candidate, he becomes the face of the party, ensuring that every campaign rally and every speech doubles as promotion for the party’s senators, representatives, and other candidates.
This approach transforms a presidential campaign into a vehicle for building legitimacy and visibility for a new political platform. While he may not expect to secure the presidency, the symbolic weight of being the party’s flagbearer strengthens its presence across constituencies.
In Oyo State, this strategy is particularly potent. The APC remains destabilized, while Governor Seyi’s popularity, rooted in visible achievements, continues to resonate with the electorate. Against this backdrop, his party stands to gain significantly. By leveraging the presidential campaign to carry along his candidates, he positions the party to win Oyo convincingly, turning a national contest into a local triumph. if you doubt my analysis , go to oyo sate and verfiy
While I totally agree that Seyi Makinde has done extremely well as Governor, his decision to contest the Presidency against Tinubu another South-Westerner who is also doing well, has pitched him against the typical South-Westerner who wants Tinubu back in office. The reason I say is because his candidacy has the potential to reduce the votes of Tinubu and rob him of an outright victory in Oyo State. If that happens Seyi Makinde’s political will never recover as it will do irreparable damage to his political base which is the South-West. Having said that I still have this hunch that at the last minute Seyi Makinde will step down for Tinubu. Sounds weird but you never know with politicians!
