[quote author=Mmamaroon post=97054177]Sorry don't have answers, just a suggestion......and a question. Why not begin the process of renewing your passports and advise IRCC of the new passport details via CSE? Nigerian Immigration apparently have a 6 month rule but I've heard of people who were able to get theirs by explaining the need...try DIY with Servicom, NL thread on page 1. Were your medicals extended or did you redo them on your own?[/quote Thanks Mmamaroon. My medicals were extended on 26-11-2020 as I got an update stating Medical passed.I also got another update of 04-12-2020 stating my additional document(schedule 4) sent on 18-11-2020 is being reviewed. I am September 2019 AOR! |
Good Morning House, Please I have a concern. My wife's and kid's passports will expire in the first week of August 2021.We are praying and hoping our PPR comes soon judging from the updates on my IRCC account and GCMS notes. If PPR lands soon and passports are sent to Ghana, give or take,it could take 6 to 8 weeks before they are returned. What this means is by the time we are ready to travel, the passports validity will likely be less than 6 months. I will surely renew the passports by first week of February 2021 once they attain the minimum 6 months validity window. My question: 1.Can they travel with the old passports having the PR visa alongside the newly reissued passports ? 2.Would I need to Inform IRCC about the renewed passports in case the old ones with the PR visa become less than 6 months valid before we decide to travel? 3.If I need to do 2 above, how do I go by this? 4.Is it mandatory one must travel with the passport stamped with the PR visa? Thanks. |
Dear House, Good Morning. So delighted at the recent influx of PPR news and updates on this thread.I pray the flow does not cease and we all shall hear good news soonest. Please,I have a question. I am AOR September 2019.I got an ADR to complete and submit a form last week Tuesday which I did same day.The ADR emanated from HongKong Visa Office despite an earlier confirmation from CIC that my VO is Accra. Can it be that my VO has been changed to HongKong from Accra? Regards. |
Congrats!!! Which VO? saskatoonguy: |

Hello House. Please I need some clarification on POF. My AOR was on 12th Sept.2019.Recent update on my application is to the effect that Eligibitily Requirements verification is presently being verified while criminal background verification is valid and security background verification is yet to be initiated. Above update points to my application being worked upon.At least my mind rest small LOL.Na Accra Visa Office so this calls for some form of joy.LOL! My concern however is that the main documents I submitted for POF are CBN treasury bills and my bank's Fixed deposit certificates which expired in January 2020 and February 2020 respectively while waiting for PPR.I have since rebooked these deposits albeit in foreign currency due to the unstable Naira.Note that available fund is well above the required sum by IRCC for my family category. Do I need to update my application with the current status of my POF after the expiration of the earlier documents submitted with my application or I await further update or advice from IRCC? If I need to update current POF status with new documents, please how do I go by this? Cheers! |
Hello house. Please which of the two days is considered by IRCC in arriving at medical test expiration. 1.Day Medical was done(In my case 11th Sept,2019) OR 2.Day I was advised of passing medicals(29th October 2019). Cheers. |
Hello everyone. My AOR was September 12,2019 and MEP update on October 29,2019.Nothing heard in respect of my application ever since. How do I get to know by VO and know the status of my application or do I just stay calm and keep waiting?Make I just dey observe??LOL. The wait is getting tiring!! |
Hello House, I am awaiting PPR which I believe will come soon by His grace. My concern goes thus:Amongst the documents uploaded for my POF is a 1-year Treasury Bill certificate. My AOR was September 12,2019.The TB matured on January 31,2020 although has been rebooked also with a 1 year tenor. Do I send the updated certificate to IRCC indicating the new tenor and details or I await until a request is made for this? Regards. |
Vicolak:Congrats! |
Good Day everyone. Please how do I get to know my Visa Office? My AOR was on September 12 2019.MEP and BIL on October 29,2019 so I am awaiting PPR. I read people talking about their Visa Offices and I reckon I should know mine for ease of tracking of my application. Kindly help out on any clue. Cheers. |
Obviously timely.Sanusi goofed on this.Clueless and contradictory perhaps playing a script. |
