suzan404: Online dating helps you avoid embarrassment The first is obvious; dating websites prevents you from you from having to get rejected, or reject anyone, in person. The second is something you may not have thought of. People may hold back feelings or thoughts when meeting in person because they are too embarrassed to talk about them....
Online dating allow you to specify your intentions right from the beginning so you can find people looking for the same thing as you. If you are seeking a soul mate, this prevents you from wasting your time with casual dating. The same cane used in flogging the spirits is the same cane that beats the Air...in as much as the online dating is beneficial to others, so also it is detestable to others. Different strokes for different folks .. |

Temilola01: I really need people's advice on how to handle this, as the next few weeks will either break or make my marriage stronger. My husband and I have been married for 5yrs now but we have been together for 11yrs. We have been through so much together, ivf procedures, miscarriages, failed businesses and the usual ups and downs in every relationship. He came to me last night after discovering he has an 18yr daughter who he has never met or did not know till yesterday. We are still waiting on God. Although this was before we met but does not make it less of a blow. I want him to do right by his daughter but I also fear for my marriage. I only just learnt about this literally 8hrs ago so I'm in shock and still trying to wrap my head around it. I need people's unbiased advice. Thank you everyone. Embrace it....it's fate, though it hurts, because the love will somewhat be distracted and divided. If u feel comfy living with little child, bring the child home and show some love...but if u ain't comfy living with the kid, show support by always asking and showing care. Don't deny the child whatever you believe your own child will want or be given. Believe me you will forever be grateful |

Glory12345: Actually this is my first post on nairaland,I'm a comment reader and a post reader and I have observed how people do things here and I feel I should share my story, please don't criticise me or anything, I just need your help or advise, and please do read carefully to understand, and i am also sorry if i dont type this well,i'm not much of a writer. Thanks in advance
There's this guy I met at 3chub Ikeja,I actually went to ask if there was any standard rechargeable fan because i have been scammed alot by all these "fairly used" rechargeable fan,so i decided to buy a new one because they sell home appliances there, even though people say fairly used items are better which I chose to decline because this is 2016,and this buhari regime doesnt accomodate an extravagant spending.
I work in Lagos but I stay in mowe, and the electricity there isn't too good so that's why I'm getting the fan so even when the gen is off,i would have an alternative,so when I got to the store, the sales ambassadors offered me different brand rechargeable fan,but i later got a syinix rechargeable fan, because I was impressed with the number of months the warranty covers so I purchased it with my ATM card since I just came to inquire and not buy and I was cashless,I had to just use the POS *I'm only explaining all if these to give you a clearer understanding of the issue on floor*
After purchasing the fan, there was this guy that came to buy a gas cooker and we happened to meet and we both exchanged contacts with eachother and few months later we developed feelings and we had a relationship and we were doing the normal relationship vibe, until this week,he started acting up because I said no sex until marriage...he's a very nice person anyway,he helped me in so many ways(advices, financially, physically) but just because I said no sex until marriage,he's acting up already, although I have my reasons for abstaining until marriage anyway but my story is sad,and I don't know who to tell and I feel more comfortable telling people online because someone that knows me physically might not say the truth to me,because they don't want to hurt me,please I need matured comments even if it will hurt, just tell me
Although we aren't kids, but I'm just troubled because I love him a lot and I don't know what to do.
I'm a loner right now After reading this am pasting and you don't have a clue, know that u need the village heads meeting GIVE IT TIME... When someone comes and tells you, I can't sleep without you, I love you the way you are and I can put up with your good and bad attitude. Before you commit your heart please GIVE IT TIME. When You just met someone today and feel like marrying him/her tomorrow, before you do remember you needed to GIVE IT TIME When you visit your uncle and you will stay there for 2months holidays, don't be carried away that they serve you your preferred food and give you hot water to bath during your first two days and you start making arrangement to relocate to their house, First GIVE IT TIME. When a brother visits you and wakes you up by his shouting of prayer from 12am to 6am, please don't shut him down, first GIVE IT TIME. When a bro joins your fellowship in First year and he is in every group/wing, please don't rush and make him a leader rather GIVE IT TIME. When you enter a new environment and everybody worship you and eat your mess don't be carried away just GIVE IT TIME. When someone comes with a new business with unbelievable promises, please before you involve your money, first GIVE IT TIME. When you see a new church in town and you hear their waves, before you conclude about how hot they are first GIVE IT TIME. Finally when you are in a cross road of decisions, you don't know what to do, ask the people or person involved to please give you time. The wise priest in the Bible in Acts told them to leave Peter and John...Rather, give them time. You can be good in giving people tests and trying out who they are...some people know how to pass them all but the test of time they fail. Time tests Love and proves it. Time tests businesses and authenticates it. Time tests spirituality and reveals it. Time, a good tester. Don't say that NEPA in your area is now the best until you have GIVEN IT TIME. Your Uncle or Father told You that you are useless and worthless and can't amount to anything, just laugh it away and ask them to GIVE YOU TIME. |

So my question is where, who, how, what is the correct way to pay our tithe.

With my experience bro, my candid advice for you. Take a time to remember how the relationship started, all the good time, bad times, trying times, lovable moments.. Secondly put that girl in your shoes without sentiment oh...does she really deserve to be where she is? What has she achieved being with you for 5yrs, were u the reason she wasn't moving forward in life or something else, sometimes in a relationship we tend to be too selfish. You want use your raggae spoil her blues. Common tell your self the truth man. Let her be, she deserve something better that you can't offer...please let her go fufil her dreams, don't limit her. For you, move on with your life, go drink some cold drinks to chill off, don't bother calling her now and then oh, because when a woman's mind is made, even Buhari winning election after so much trials is even easier than wining that girl back. Move move on bro, painful but that's my gospel coin no pet peeves |
Romance › Re: My Girlfriend Just Broke Our 5 Year Relationship. Pls I Need Advise!!! by zubinike(m): 9:24am On Jul 13, 2016 |
ADUNOKIKI: That's human being! My suggestion to you... Visit he in Osun, don't let her be aware you are coming. May be weekend, but make sure you have money for hotel ooo. Ask her one on one what you have done to deserve this? Don't be violent and don't sound desperate. You have been with her for 5 years, you should read the answers in her eyes... But don't expect anything positive from her. She already have a replacement for you!!!
Do you use to pay her surprise visit in school before? Do you have the key to her apartment? Lol.. In this kinda thing. The word is its over and it's over, if after 5years or 50years and she has her reason calling it off. Common advice the bro to act deaf and not worry himself about her anymore, the more you fight to win her back the more problems you create for yourself. Go get a life for yourself and achieve greater height. The guy probably grew fat in the relationship and she sensed it.... |

Be patient, get married before engaging in such. God is wiser than man. Many youths suffering for a very long time or those who are suddenly cut short in their prime, contacted marine spirits through their sexual partners without knowing. Truest talk of the year 2016....although sha.Bad thing too sweet. Even Adam could not differentiate the difference between good and bad when Eve offered him Apple in the Garden. That's one reason we are still suffering. |
Crime › Re: Re: Female Kidnapper Nabbed In Lagos This Morning: Vital Information by zubinike(m): 10:19pm On Jul 11, 2016 |
DesChyko: This is an important information regarding the woman beaten by mob this morning at Aka Road in Lagos as detailed in this thread:
https://www.nairaland.com/3219315/female-kidnapper-nabbed-lagos-seriously
It happened between 7am and 8am this morning. I happened to witness part of the said episode, and can confirm that the woman in question is indeed the kidnapper as alleged. Here is her modus operandi and some vital information eventually gotten from her.
She disguises as a mad woman, but after she was beaten, she became 'sane' and fear of lynching made her start divulging information. She claimed that they were twenty-seven (27) women in all that came as a group of the syndicate from Benin Republic. Each woman was given 4 or 5 phones to contact their buyers once the target; little children, is acquired. The phone is to be thrown away after transactions to avoid detection. If she uses diabolic means, it could not be ascertained. The kidnapping is for outright sale, not for a ransome
The missing child-count in Okokomaiko and its environs since the past two months is at seven children. At Okokomaiko some days back, another female kidnapper was apprehended after she successfully kidnapped one and was back for a second child before she was noticed. Unfortunately, she could not produce the first child before she was whisked away by the police.
So, Parents, Guardians and Siblings, take adequate steps to ensure your child never fall victims to these 'women on rampage'. One can never be careful enough with kids, but this time, you're not saving them from themselves, but from adults who're far more deceptive. Ensure your child/children avoid strangers and do well to tell their teachers to monitor their movements during and after school.
Another similar event took place at ijanikin about two weeks back, now it's Okoko. Abeg make them alert agric,volks,iyana-iba and iba newsite police...it seems as they are being caught from one place, they shift attention to a nearby mile... |
