Has anyone here or know anyone that got study permit approval using 1 or 2 months old statement of account.?

Pls anyone Here know any college in Alberta with reasonable tuition fees that offer pgwp programs??

This platform has been a huge blessing to me from the days of applying for my US student visa, Canadian PR application and now my younger sister’s Canada student visa. This is my little way of giving back to this wonderful community

Application Submitted - March 10th, 2023

Total application processing time - approximately 6 weeks

Having read the pages of this thread from page 1 to probably 100 (lost count), I felt I had enough information to kick start my younger sister’s study visa application.
Spent some time writing a convincing SOP, explaining why she has been out of school for over 10 years, proof of funds, home ties (her child and small-scale business), her future plans etc

6. Proof of previous financial commitments (I support her with monthly stipends, so I showed those bank transfers)
7. My Canadian PR Card

Please note that we never paid any tuition fee. Only confirmation of acceptance fee. Also, your age and long gap year should not deter you from studying or applying. My younger sister is 27 and she’s going for a bachelors degree.

Guys I have submitted my visa application ( close work permit). last night, I got a message from Ministry de l'immigration de la francisation et de l'integration, basically welcoming me and asking me to register for free French courses online to facilitate integration OR register in an approved French school in Montreal


Is this a sign of Visa approval.....I want to start rejoicing.

For email structure, state your details (FullName, DOB, UCI and Application Number) and restart that you had received the BVL/Correspondence letter but still await their decision.

I am exactly in your shoes. Offered admission to study Occupational health and safety management.
I will be looking forward to responses to this. However, due to their cheaper tuition fees, I am willing to take the risk and give it a chance even though the school doesn't offer program that offers PGWP after studies.
I currently got a visit visa, even though I am married I intend to go alone to make it easier for me to sort myself before sending for my family.
Finally, another route is after the completion of the CCEC program, u can get another short course and that will qualify you for a PGWP.

Would like to share more ideas with you if you don't mind. I have sent you a mail.

Hello I guess the Tracker is rather slow , my destination hasn’t yet shown and also background check still should shows in progress ( or so ) . But my passport request came 12:30pm regardless.

Exactly. They update late. I have received passport request but till now it's still showing eligibility check in progress.

I just received Passport submission request for my visit visa application I submitted Oct 2022. I have gathered all my docs for my student permit application and I plan to submit end of this month.
Can my visit visa approval affect my study permit in any way?

Also guess when filling the form for if I have Been denied Canada visa, I will have to pick No.

For in person submission, you need to book appointment.

If you're submitting using courier service, you don't need to book appointment

My application was last updated 20th March 2023. Latest update was 19th April 2023.what I noticed is that IRCC update application once monthly. I submitted 27 Sept 2022,when I checked today it shows biometric completed background check in progress eligibility not yet. House is it positive news

To be sincere, it's possible they have completed all those checks but not updated. As I type this, I already received request to submit original passport but my eligibility review is still showing ongoing.

Please what's the process of passport submission. Do one need to book appointment if I want to walk into their office to submit?? Or I can go on Tuesday to submit by hand??

For Lagos Office:

Walk into any DHL or UPS store; you can google & check for the one's near you.

This is the address you will mail your documents to:

- Two photocopies of your international passport data page
- Your International Passport itself

Thanks everyone. Just few mins ago I was here asking on how to track my application after I received bvl correspondence. Last night I sent the mail with the format dropped here to all the email addresses and just few mins ago, I got a mail for Original passport request. Received bvl correspondence on April 14th.

I submitted paper base application 9 March 2020 , no update since, however 4 April 2023 I received correspondences email bvl, track application saw visa document number, and expiration date.

Your parents can gift you a landed property.
You can swear an affidavit of return.
In most tribes, first born sons are in line to inherit the properties of their parents. You could use that.
You can claim to have a pet.
You can claim you're the one solely responsible for running errands for your parents

I am also in this situation. I don't have any property in my name but my dad has. As the first son, how do I coin it to show home times. Can you help with 2 or 3 lines on how to add that to my SOP.
Currently I already added that as first son I am managing the properties and I have shown evidence by showing rental increment, repair notice all issued by me to tenants. Don't know if this is enough.

My only fear was since I’m here in Canada I didn’t want to be perceived as a tie. Thank God it went through.

What is difference btw SOP and LOE

I have my medical booked with IOM on April 17th. When is it advisable I make payment for the medical. It's an upfront one.
Do I need to make payment now before that day to secure my appointment or I can make it fee days before the appointment date and my slot will still be secured??
