OLAN2015: Hello house! Please, can anyone who has collected passport before help me interpret this message I just got this afternoon. Does it mean the passport has been stamped with visa? . Yes it has been stamped. If you submitted in Abj and and plan to pick up in person, then go pick up now. However, if it's in lag you submitted and plan to pick up in person then you wait till you are told it's ready to pick up in lag |

[quote author=ShowYoung post=123335448]You have provided very limited information but I will try to answer as vaguely as possible.
Firstly, it is possible: but how? You must be a friend of Form A, meaning, you must be able to buy foreign currency at official CBN rate. If you are able to do this, you will have solved 90% of your financial insufficiency issue.
You must seek admission in a school and a course which charges not more than $12,000 as tuition fee.
Then, you must travel to Canada alone first, then work while studying to have some savings.
To make working as quickly as you arrive possible, you should work as a PSW. You will be able to earn and save heavily. Ensure you cut down on your rent. Food is not expensive in Canada.
When you know you have enough funds, you can apply for your dependants to come join you.
Dependants don't need as much money as you do: your spouse needs just $4,000 and each child $3,000 for each year.
You will agree that you must apply for a one-year course. You could find courses for as little as $7,000 or more. You don't want to live in an expensive city.
Lastly, you must believe you can do it. You just have to be strategic about it.
I hope this helps.[/quote
Pls what is PSW?? |

pabu: I did an upfront medical and uploaded my medical results I received from IOM instead of the e_medical slip. I got a mail from IRCC for medical request some couple of hours ago. I'm confused as I'd already uploaded my upfront medical during application. Upon receiving the email I immediately uploaded the e_medical slip on webform and chose Nigeria as the visa office instead of Nairobi. Are my entries correct or do I need fill another webform. Please what are my chances cos I've been restless ever since. How did you get your medical result from Ircc?? |

kweje: In proofing your source of funds, while using a personal account that has business transactions, besides showing invoices for how monies came into the account, do you also need to show payment receipts of how monies left?
Please your inputs. Well, can't say it's compulsory but anything that helps your application to be successful is what you should do which os detailed explanation of everything. In my case I provided receipts for debits for only amounts that would have been regarded as lump sum if it came in as a credit. The regular amounts I didn't provide receipt or explain them. What I did was I created a table, first column was description of transaction, second was amount, 3rd was date, 4th was summary. In the description I either listed it as debit or credit and the purpose of what the money was for. In the summary I mentioned that a receipt or invoice was issued as the case maybe. All this I did on my Letter of Explanation which was different from my SOP just to explain lump sums(both debits and credits) Hope you understood all my plenty talk??. Lol |

Martin6004: Hi Everyone, I keep seeing upload medical result. By that do you mean the medical sheet (Information sheet) given when you did medicals. The one that has required in the status of every test you took or are we supposed to receive the actual test result and upload, because I have done my test and I didn’t receive anything but the sheet handed to me on the test day.
2. When uploading a form via webform (Not medical result). In the section for canada visa office are we to choose Nigeria or Nairobi because i saw a link that shows nairobi as the correspondent for temporary visa office to Nigeria.
Thanks 1. Yes upload the medical sheet given to you on the day of the medical. That's all. |

His Dad is his full sponsor as just recently finished nysc with no work experience. Now we want to transfer the balance of tuition and full living expenses to his acct and submit his statement of acct for pof. In this reapplication, would there still be need for his dad to submit his statement of acct since all money has been sent to his son? We intend to still write a notarized letter of sponsorship where his dad will still attach his brith certificate to proof relationship, his pay slip, employment letter etc. |

I requested mine in 2021 for about 25 or 30K and it was processed and sent to the Canadian university within 1 month or so. That cost also covered the DHL courier service. Did you apply yourself and just waited and followed up via available channels or you gave someone money to help you facilitate it for it to come out within 1 month?? |

ademma2022: so once I click yes I can go ahead and submit my application and later go for my medical, but I do update it on my application ? Wait. You only click yes if you have done the medical examination before you submit. If you haven't then you click NO. If you click yes, it would bring up where you need to upload the medical sheet and if you don't, the application will not submit. So for your case, click NO because at that point of answering, you haven't done it except you plan to do it before you eventually submit, then when u finally submit, you can do the upfront medical on a later date and send the medical sheet via webfrom to ircc. |

I can see that there are a lot of people who has lots of experience abroad. Someone should suggest a skill i can learn that make me decent amount of wages over there. At least 20 to 25 CAD per hour.
Also, if there is anyone who has live in Canada, I'll appreciate any word of advice Hope you are looking at your calendar? You don't have to wait for your Visa to be approved as you don't know when the Visa will be approved. So better start now |

Deronke1: Dear Visa Officer,
I hope this email finds you in good health. I am writing to you today with a heavy heart and deep concern regarding the delay in the approval of my visa application. I have recently learned that I am on the verge of missing one of the most significant and joyous events in my life—my elder brother's wedding.
For me, family has always been an anchor of love and support, and my brother holds a special place in my heart. Being my elder brother , he has been my role model, guiding me through life's challenges and providing unwavering encouragement. We have shared countless memories together. However, due to the unforeseen delays in the visa approval process, I fear I will be absent from his wedding day, an occasion that holds immense sentimental value for both of us.
The thought of missing this momentous occasion fills me with immense sadness and regret. My brother's wedding is not just a celebration of love and unity; it is a testament to our family's bond and the values we hold dear. It is a gathering of loved ones, an opportunity for me to witness the union of two souls and support my brother as he embarks on this new chapter of his life. The prospect of not being able to be there physically, to share in his joy, and to convey my heartfelt congratulations is incredibly disheartening.
As I write this email, tears stream down my face, realizing that I may not witness the exchange of vows, the tears of happiness, and the laughter shared among family and friends. The absence of my presence would not only affect me but would cast a shadow of melancholy upon my brother's special day as well. He has expressed his profound disappointment and his longing for my support, making my absence all the more painful.
I implore you, dear Visa Officer, to understand the gravity of my situation and the immense emotional distress this delay has caused. I have followed every step of the visa application process diligently, submitted all the required documents, and adhered to the regulations with utmost sincerity. I understand that visa processing involves meticulous scrutiny, but I kindly request you to consider expediting my application so that I can be present for my brother's wedding. My presence would not only be a source of comfort to my family but would also enable me to contribute to the joyous atmosphere that surrounds this significant occasion.
I assure you that I am fully committed to complying with all visa regulations, and I will respect the stipulated time frame for my visit. I understand the importance of adhering to immigration rules and the trust placed in me as an applicant. I am ready to provide any additional information or documentation you may require to expedite the process. Please understand the urgency of my situation and the impact it has on my family's happiness.
I appeal to your compassion and understanding, hoping that you will empathize with my circumstances and take them into consideration. Your timely approval of my visa application would not only fulfill a dream of being present at my brother's wedding, but it would also demonstrate the power of compassion and empathy within the visa application process.
Thank you for your attention, and I eagerly await a positive response from your esteemed office. May your decision bring solace to my distressed heart and help restore the joy that is slowly fading away.
Yours sincerely,
[Name] Congrats bro. You just cool down, emotionally blackmail VO lol. Baba wan sleep well at night. E no wan see you hunting him at night cos u miss your bro wedding. Congrats once more. |

If it’s not clear enough get use my bank statement service offer by your bank with that your bank statement will be sent to the embassy directly. You will just be given a username and password for the embassy to be able to access your bank statement with that you don’t have to upload any bank statement anymore Lol. Not true. Used my online generated bank Statement from my zenith bank app on 2 different occasions and both applications were approved. |

Kamsi99: Good day all,
Please can I use an online ( mobile app) generated bank statement of account and also attach a bank reference letter.
The issue is that the hard copy stamped bank statement my bank gave me is not clear at all. Access Bank statement, very bad printers, I have tried 3 different branches. It’s not even clear and the size is over 30 mb, by the time I compress that document an inch lower, I believe nothing will be clear again.
Has anyone here used pdf file online generated bank statement ? Is the stamp actually important on bank statements? I believe with or without stamp , the visa officer will still do his verification.
Please what are you thoughts I used SOA I generated from my zenith app without stamp snd signature and without getting any reference letter and it was fine. Use it. |

Tegnaworld23: Good evening House, please I need u guys to look into my matter o. I printed my bank statement yesterday and planning to submit my student application on Monday. But my concerns are, my opening balance shown 980 naira as of January 3rd and January 7th I received 1.3m, Feb 3m twice in between 10 days and 2m plus around March, I sha dey receive money like that from undocumented businesses, and sold a property of 8m 2 days ago and the funds were transfered to my acct, plus I moved almost 4m from my other bank to my first bank which I want to submit for the application, please I need advise on what to do to defend those deposits if they are lump sum or not, my available now is 17mplus, total debit is 14m and credit is 32m, please can somebody advise me on what to do the best. GOD BLESS U ALL. And my closing balance never go below 5m since Feb 10th. Can you generate your acct starting from that Feb 10. So your opening balance can show 5 million so you have little lump sum to explain. From Feb 10th till date is 3 months plus. I used SOA of 2 months and 1 week old and I was fine. My one opinion oo. Wait for others to advise you |

OLAN2015: Aside the question you have asked, I noticed you wrongly uploaded Letter of Explanation (LOE) at the section meant for Letter of Acceptance the school has given you. Your LOE is supposed to be merged with your other supporting documents and uploaded in the last form input in the portal. It is not a replacement for Letter of Acceptance. Nice observation. |

wasiubello: Thank you so much boss. One last question, please can you help me with upfront medical booking link? If you want to do the medical in lag, send a mail to them with this email address and they will book a date for you. iomlagosmedicalbooking@iom.int However, hope you know the reason you are asked to upload your medical sheet is because while filling the questionnaires, you answered YES when asked if you have done medical. So you have two options, Option 1, you delete this application and start all over again and make sure you answer NO when asked if you have done medical. Then you can submit now and later update irrc when you have done the medical via webform Option 2. You hold on and wait till when you get a date with iom and get done with the medical then you upload the medical sheet and submit. That's looking at minimum of 2 weeks from now. Mind you have generated your SOA with a certain ending date. So with this option, you are likely to submit past 3 weeks from the closing date of your SOA. Don't know if it will be a concern with the VO because of the date Gap. |

huzzman: Yes, my dad is donating it to me. Do i need to notarize it or just do affidavit? Just notarize it. That's all. You don't need to show your dad SOA. I believe you are submitting your birth certificate among the docs you are to upload. Your birth certificate I believe already showed your dad's name. So that's enough. You don't need to show his SOA |
