Momentum2017: Yes they do accept. For one of my degrees, the certificate isn't ready so they evaluated using transcript and statement of result. My evaluation was completed last week. 2 Likes 1 Share |

olugere: Most of us here and even the majority of people getting ITA do not have those points you mentiined. I'm yet to enter the pool (waiting for IELTS) but my estimated crs score ranges from 441 to 458 depending on how well I smash IELTS. Do not be discouraged. With your age and msc degree, you should be able to get 435 at least, if you smash your ielts. Since your wife is younger, she may turn out to have a higher score than you. I suggest you use the crs calculator on the cic website. That way, you know what your scores are likely to be. 2 Likes 1 Share |

telias: I think you should be the principal applicant. Age is to your advantage. Try using the crs calculator on the cic website so you can take a decision based on the outcome. Meanwhile, kudos to both of you...you both killed IELTS. 2 Likes |

merrymum: Oh my! You've got an Angolan PCC?! Oh my goodness! I've been thinking of how to go about getting one. I lived there about 2 yrs ago but I'm back in Nigeria now. How did you go about it? What documents were required of you? What's the cost? How long did it take? I'll appreciate if you can PM me your contact number or Facebook ID. I'm so relieved. You've just made my day. |

Beem4cupid: Thanks for your response. I hear you and I'll do as you've adviced when the time comes. I'll just state that I've been unemployed and also doing a programme. I don't want any complications at all. Yes, my 4yrs work experience falls under NOC B (Administrative Officers). I'm aware I'll need PCC from Angola and I'm already trying to see how it can be done when the time comes. I'm presently waiting for WES to finish my evaluation and then sit for my IELTS. Can't wait to get into the pool. I'm grateful for the responses. |

Gymme: Thanks for your response. I do have proof of schooling. It's an online programme which I started in 2015. I have my student ID card, admission letter, proof of exam registration and school fees payment. As for self employed, I'm considering stating that I was into baking and supply of pastries to small outlets. I actually do make pastries. However, I didn't register any company. I don't even have bank transactions to show for it. Its just a small business which I do on my own and collect cash based on what was sold or the order placed. As for the overstay, it shows on my passport and I guess I just have to apply like that and hope for the best. I asked earlier and someone on this platform told me since it's PR, overstay may not hinder. I'm just hoping the overstay doesn't make things difficult for me. |

Hello house, Please I have about 4yrs years work experience in a particular NOC. That was from year 2010 to 2014. In 2014, I travelled to Angola and lived for over a year while working as well. Presently, I'm out of job but doing an online B.Sc. My questions are: 1) Is it wise for me to state that I was working in a country where I didn't have work permit and I even overstayed my visa? 2) what if I just state that I've been self-employed and schooling? Can I claim point using my past four years experience even though its not recent and I'm not employed currently? Thanks. |

Hello everyone, please I need advice.. About 3 years ago, I got a one-month visa to Angola but I overstayed by a year and 7 months. I ended up leaving on my own. Presently, I intend using a new passport for my EE application. I hope to do a new passport soon claiming that the old one got lost. However, because the lost passport was electronic, I hear the number will appear on my new passport. My questions are: 1) Even though I'm using a fresh passport, is it advisable to on my own tell cic about the overstay? Will it make them reject my application? 2) If I decide to keep it secret, is there a way they can find out? I hear they can give up to 5years ban for misrepresentation. Advice needed please. Thanks. |

chomiePedia: WES sends transcripts back to your institution's registrar's office for confirmation. Most achools require you to make a payment which will be used to facilitate their response to WES. I STRONGLY advice you get in touch with someone in your schools to follow-up on your behalf. Else, your school may never reply WES. |

temitope06: Temitope pls how much did it cost you and how long did it take you to receive it? Also, did you do yours recently? Because some people say it can now be done in Lagos. I'll appreciate if you can link me up with your contact. Thanks. |

Hello house. PLEASE, ABEG, I NEED HELP. I'm presently working towards an EE application. The issue I'm having is PASSSPORT. I had an electronic passport which got lost last year. Before then, I had both Ghana and Benin Republic stamps on them. I didn't require a visa because it was just visiting I went for. Now that I am interested in EE it has become necessary for me to do another passport and I was told the lost passport number will also reflect on the new. My questions are: 1) How do I go about filling 'travel history' on the EE application. 2) Do I have to write a LOE on my lost passport telling them my travel history there or I totally ignore it. 3) If I even decide to write LOE, how do I prove that I've been to those countries and I didn't stay long enough to need a PCC? 4) Is there a way they can just run a background check on my old passport number and see that I've been to those countries? Also, I hear lost passport replacement can only be done in Abuja. Is it true? Make una help me abeg. The thing is giving me sleepless night. |
