And no, I'm not translating. I read thru the entire thread like a 4year old testing his reading ability and I have to say I found Odumchi's dialect more comprehensible, why? I'm hoping someone will tell me. I hope this thread is just about demonstrating our various dialects, if its not then I think it wont go very far without translations considering how difficult it is to make sense of some dialects.

In fact, the only dialects I understood very well were yours (Aboh) and Andre's (Isinweke).

Listen and be blessed. Here's what Nedu was saying:
I am fine
How are u Odumchi?
I am from Enugu
Our mode of greeting is "ndaa"
I thot we were the only ones that greet "ndaa", I never knew some folks also greet like we do
Let me use this opportunity to inform you all of our feast which is due to begin on Monday and last through to Sunday. Its going to really be hot in all Ugbo communities on Monday, Tuesday and finally on Friday, it would get to Ugbo proper.
Didn't get that last bit but I think its an informal way of saying "well done my people".

Who's going to score me?

I know it won't be long before he will derail an Igbo thread again. I opened an Ngwa thread for him to write whichever way he chooses to write with his fellow Ngwa but it seems like he will always carry on with his behaviour, derailing every Igbo thread. If he should write in Ngwa, he should do so with Igbo orthography so that others could read it. It's too rude of him to continue this way.

It's like writing Nedu210 3rd line:
Iya, ndụ ibe anyi na ekene 'ndaa', echekwe m shọọ sọsọ ndụ ibeanyi na ekene ndaa, Mana mgben ahụgwo m na ọbụhụ sọọ anyi.

as this:
..., nduh bay arnyih nah akenay 'ndar', atceh quem shaw sausor nduh ebay arnyi nah akenay ndar, marnah ... ar hoogwoe m nah awboohu saw arnyih

It doesn't make sense at all.

Mbarezi or Eberezi means compound. It is widely used in Isinweke and Umuahia areas that share border with Isinweke. The question was if anyone in your compound is taking part in the olympic games 2012, in London.
