bro, go and read your bible very well, there is nothing like "uselessness" or even bench warmer in the house of God, the word bench warmer was coined by the modern churches to use it as control statements to despised the stuborn members that refuse to volunteer themself for the free services, if my pastor is being handsomely paid for his services to the church, i wonder why i should allow anybody to cajole me to make my own free.

jesus cleaned the feet of his disciples, so what is the big deal in a pastor cleaning the chair. We have attached too much importance to the pastoral post that some xtians foolishly called their pastor Daddy or spiritual father when the bible clearly tell us that the only spiritual father we could have is God.

Being a worker or bench warmer is the issue, the issue is, is your service recognize by Heaven from a pure and obedient heart. God who see the Heart of man in secrete will reward every man in the open.

I used to be like that once, but now, i am a retired church worker - i feel that i am not cut out for being a worker - at least not for now.

Is Church worker or Bench warmer an Olympic sport? This is one of the reasons we are growing backwards as a Nation.

The truth is just that everybody can't be workers,even in those days it's not everyone that can heal or perform miracles,but i sing,play the keyboard and drumset.............

I do this>I sit and I study, and I witness around the world. What do you do?
I don't do this>Go to Church to listen to some pastor, twisting the scriptures around, trying to make money out of me.
All workers that work either in a Church or else where, they all get paid.
Do you work freely for God? The pastors claim they work freely for God, and they all get paid.
Leviticus 19:13 "You shall not defraud your neighbour, neither rob him, of the wages of him that is hired.
1 Timothy 5:18 "A labour is worthy of his wages.
So you see its even written in the scriptures, everyone gets paid, but it seems that the church had once again ignored the word of God' the head are paid, while their labourers retrieve nothing.
This is not the church God allowed us to have, everybody who claims that tithes are to be paid in cash {Money} is a Prosperity preacher.
Don't they realise we are all priest in Christ, Some pastors, others are teachers, some prophets, some evangelist, some apostles.
So if you were to pay me money in "tithes, and I was to pay someone else "tithes, and that someone was to pay you "tithes, "What then? Jesus's pockets were empty, but His wisdom is always full.
