nformation available to 247ureports.com through sources close to the activities within the presidency indicate that the former federal minister of power, Prof Barth Nnaji may have been sacked without notice on the evening of August 28, 2012.  The former Minister of Power, Prof Barth Nnaji became aware of his sacking through the television [Channels TV], stated a source who spoke with thr former Minister.

According to information received through an impeccable source, the former Minister’s sacking may have come as a result of his latent squabbles with the Federal Minister of Petroleum Resources, Madam Diezani Allison Madueke. It was learnt that the former minister for power had involved himself in a tussle with Diezani Allison Madueke over the privatization modalities of the Power Holding Company of Nigeria [PHCN].

Ok, this is not right. Is that how things are done in Nigeria? You fire/sack someone without telling them directly? The person has to find out about it on the news? Haba Nigeria! As a country we always take one step forward and ten steps backward. Why is that? Prof. Nnaji seemed to be doing a pretty decent job with the power sector and they just had to let him go. It seems Nigeria does not deserve good and dedicated leaders. The system is set up to encourage and benefit the corrupt politicians who loot money all day and do nothing constructive with their time at work. I tire for Nigeria matter.
