ummmh i am not sure, now the food is so mixed up, so i am confused about the origins of some recipes, we all eat the same food now.
But since I am from the south i ll be biased and say my region tongue

you should try attieke, they might have it in some african stores were u r in the UK, try it with bake fish, u won't regret it smiley

Ugali - The non horn East African equivalent to West African Fufu. I've had this before. It's alright. It has a bland taste so you've got to mix it with meat and gravy

Black Kenichi: Ugali - The non horn East African equivalent to West African Fufu. I've had this before. It's alright. It has a bland taste so you've got to mix it with meat and gravy

It's very strange. Ugali is also eaten in many parts of Southern African as well. It's very bland but tastes great with meat, veg and gravy.

Yea i saw it in the wiki too, and it's made of cornmeal, it's like some of the central food i saw here look similar to what we eat...i guess our diet aint that different then

We eat salt cod in Jamaica as well. Here's one of our national dishes.

Do you guys eat a lot of seafood as well, from my dad side it's cultural, we can eat fish and shrimps like everyday
