A few hours ago its reported there was a bomb blast in jalingo,area called mallam joda not too far from NTA targeted at a local drinking joint.injured rush to d hospital.called and a friend there confirmed. this is coming barely 24 hours after a blast at a very local drinking joint/brothel killed about 4. can jalingo residents fill us in on the latest pls.

One Woman Killed In Fresh Bombing Of Drinking Joint In Jalingo, Taraba State

A fresh bomb blast occurred this evening at a local drinking joint in Mallam Joda area of Jalingo, Taraba state. This blast happened at about 7.30 pm local time near an NTA station.

SaharaReporters sources say that one woman was killed, and five kids were injured. Police spokesman could not be reached to confirm the casualties.

Only two days ago, a bomb blast occurred at a beer parlor in Doruwa area, a stone throw from the state ministry of works killing four people.

In recent days unknown gunmen have been attacking local beer joints and entertainment spots like beer parlors and brothels in Nigeria's northwest, such attacks are the hallmarks of the islamist sect Boko Haram.

However, the sect has not claimed responsibility for recent recent attacks.
