Why is it that...when Pastor tell us to bring offering and tithes, they tell us that we are offering it unto The Lord. That all the tithe and offerings belongs to God and that if we fail to bring them we are robbing God.

But when some steals the offering or tithe somehow he/she is stealing from the church.

Though, am not condoning what this guy did, but the truth is, he stole from God and not the Church and your guess is good as mine that, God has forgiven him and like the adulterous woman, Jesus is telling him right now to go and sin no more.

The bible said, Jesus knew that Judas one of his disciples who also double as the treasurer was stealing from the pulse...Jesus never disgrace him, he never called the cops on him or even reported him to the other disciples, he simply forgave him, despite the fact that Judas never repented and his love for money ultimately led him to betray his master for 30 pieces of silver.
