In my own dialect (Idemili). We describe it as thus: turn on the light- gbayi oku turn off the light- gbanyuo oku |

Eze Promoe: In my own dialect (Idemili). We describe it as thus: In some dialects, the 'ny' sound is omitted. Words like gbanye (turn on), tinye (put), and bunye (carry) are pronounced as: gbai, tii, and bui. Is Ikwere the same way? |

odumchi:You are welcome, bro. ChinenyeN: lol Doesn't seem as though Eze Promoe is all that fond of his Ikwere side.Emmm, not really. When the natives aren't bothered in promoting their language, you will do likewise. Many Ikweres of up to 90% including the intelligent ones can't write their language very well, but i use my experience in Igbo language to do that. J12: So eze promoe bu onye ikwerre?Ikwere is my maternal home. |
