Oh up until the last week of December 2011. We were consistently told the govt was still in consultation and if anything was going to happen it'd be in April 2012.

That was for last year, provision for subsidy is in the 2013 budget.

Sincere 9gerian: This thread is an example of why Nigeria is DECAYING. Almost all the comments made so far could be described in one word- SENSELESS. This is a perfect example of how we waste our time in UNPRODUCTIVE ventures that end up multiplying poverty in GEOMETRIC PROGRESSION in this country. When our UNPRODUCTIVE ventures are rewarded with POVERTY, we turn round to blame govt. Ladies and gentlemen, Niger delta and Igbo oil money is INSUFFICIENT to feed 165million people. We must all get our hands dirty in PRODUCTIVE ventures. If we must talk or chat, it must be PRODUCTIVE. Your contribution on this forum should increase your country's GDP.
Thank you

Shut d f'up bro!

If you want the fact on what he just said about auditing the oil sector, direct your inquiry to the former minister of finance, Olusegun Aganga
