yoruba ppl call it agbalumo i think..no english name but it's botanical name is chrysophyllum albidum

Forget about the name joor; the seed can put you for trouble back in nursery for maths class. We always count the seed for any calculations. Naija school life

Agbalumo in yoruba. I think d nigerianised-english name for it is cherry. Chai back in those days, the skin was a very good source of chewing gum, grin while we(girls) also cracked d seed and used dat white stuff inside d seed as earrings.

Vernacular name (English): White star apple or African star apple.

If you're in the US, since it's highly tropicalized it should be in Florida.
