first daughter, Witelane. I used to be skinny but after I had my first baby I got so big.' she told Asiantown.net. As her weight skyrocketed to more than 600 lbs, she spent her days sitting in bed wrapped in sheets as she couldn't find clothes to fit. She first came to the media's attention in 2010 when she was forced to stay in Haiti for three months after the earthquake, because she was too heavy for commercial airlines. she was virtually housebound for almost two decades with her daughters washing, feeding and caring for her. She died in March, after being given less than a year to live by doctor's who had been waiting to give her potentially life- saving stomach surgery.

Some people are addicted to bad food. Soft drinks/minerals . Mcdonalds, kfc and packaged treats and other junk. That stuff is cheap because it is packed with dangerous preservatives. Why do you hardly see fat people in villages? They eat fresh foods and fruits. Non preserved or grown with chemicals. They also walk around a lot.

I think she had a hormone imbalance.No way can somebody eat and be like that except some disorder involve.

I remember this woman.

There was a show about her on DSTV some time ago, I think last year. Doctors were making attempts to get her lose some weight prior to doing much needed surgery. But that woman was totally non cooperative, she would be screaming at her daughters to get her snacks and junk food. Her doctors would come into the house and start packing out junk food and drinks from her she hid them in her room. Her older daughters would refuse to get them for her but she always managed to get the last daugther to get it for her.Very emotional..., it was a serious addiction, if her screaming and getting angry failed to make her daughters get her junk food, she would start pleading and crying. She even called the cops on her daughters once.she would be crying, her daughters would cry too. Her last daughter is the most beautiful of the lot. I remember her singing and dancing for her mum towards the end of the programme and the woman was smiling.

Its totally unfortunate that she did'nt make it.
