I hear Mobile Odin Pro performs wonders(never personally tried it). But I would rather unroot, update and re-root (if rooting interests you).

you need to go computer villa...but I know it's costly in Nigeria...you will likely get it cheap at china....cuz all d guyz I know that had screen problem. ..probably get it done at china

Why use CM when there are other better and stable stock rom out there. I use s3 with ported s5 rom and it's very stable. I also have a ported note 2 rom which is also super. all are 4.4.2

Download this instead. It's a ported note 2 stock rom with S5 features but very stable and free ram more than any 4.3 rom even stock. If you have any prob contact me cuz it's what am using

Using mine since 2012, fell many times but no cracks. I must say am lucky. I can't purchase anoda phone cuz even now I have s5 rom on it. so am kinda using s5

when I got mine sometime last year, it was running on 4.1 and I upgraded it to 4.3 via ota..didn't need any root just needed a good network with good signal and enough data..samsung doesn't release 4.4 for S3 though. unless you want to tweak your phone(which to me isn't really necessary if you upgrade to 4.3)
