The dynamics are forever changing . No one can accurately predict the participants for 2015. My gut instinct , given the pragmatic reality of what is on ground, is that we will gain a Northern President in 2015 whatever happens. We only need to look around the nation, and even on this forum, to ask where the political sophistication will miraculously come from that will see Fashola become President while we remain a Nation that embraces far too many sentiments, emotions and biases ahead of the simple consideration of going with meritoriously proven achievers.

Fashola, at best, will be VP to a prominent Northerner in my opinion. We can all dream but , in the end, it is impossible to ask a people to give what they do not have. Fashola may be proven as a performer, perhaps even the best, yet the aberration called Nigeria does not work in the uncomplicated and logical ways seen elsewhere where folks simply consider the facts and stats to determine the best man for the job.

....you all think nigeria is hot now, in 2014 you will look back and pray to be taken back to the chaos of 2012.

back to topic, nigeria coat of arms has a motto stamped into the wreath and it reads "UNITY and FAITH, PEACE and PROGRESS".

Yorubaland, since our independence has lived by this creed, faithfully, and practiced it in words and action. When other regions are notorious for invading and imposing their will on others, Yorubas are trusted and loved for their welcoming and openess atittude of love and goodwill towards others.

The top 2 positions must go to the region and the people who clearly have the capacity to model the Nigerian creed and teach others how it is done. The bottom 2 positions are necessary to act as the conduit through which peace and order can be restored to the hotbeds of terror and insecurity in this country.

Democracy is a part and parcel of the indigeneous Yoruba government. In fact, at point of contact, colonialists were shocked to find that the Yorubas had a structure far civilized and superior than they had anticipated and would need to be tempered if they were to be successfully subdued. Yorubaland was the only truly federating nation in all of West Africa, and still is today!

When they attempted to install a unitary system of goverment the Igbo leadership failed. This is because a central point of authority to which other sub authorities attach to is a new concept that is not in harmony with their understanding and ability to administer. Its almost half a century since and they still have not installed in their own region a federating union.....something, anything, that models a mini-Nigeria and is scalable for installation at the center.

Hausas are intolerant of non-muslims. Their continous drive is to deliver the whole country as a proxy to Saudi Arabia. In their view Allah will reward them for doing just that. I am of the opinion that if Northern Nigeria exist as a separate sovereingty, within a few years Arabic will be mandated as an official language. In all the years that Hausas ruled from the center, the presidency deferred to Sokoto. This country is not an emirate of Sokoto, putting Hausa in leadership will subdue the country to their desires to earn Allah's reward at the cost of Yoruba and Igbo destinies.

Yorubaland is the milk and honey of Nigeria. Yorubaland is where Nigerians go to get solace for their troubled souls. Hausa man on the brink of abject poverty emigrate from his land to go sojourni in Yorubaland and start trade, in few years he is able to take his profit back home and expand trade. Igboman despirited by rejection of osu born in his own land migrates to opportunities in Hausaland where he is eventually expelled by ethnic hatred, he soon moves to Yorubaland to find peace and tranquility and acceptance.

If Yorubaland is good, Yoruba leaders made it so and they are good. Yorubaland demonstrates a true model of an ideal Nigeria we all would love to see materialize in 2015.....therefore, if you want this country to continue in turmoil, hatred, intolerance, crime, lack of vision...then do not vote Yorubaman for the two top 2 positions of President and Vice President.

....for ghose who would love to have for gheir land and everywhere else the model of UNITY, FAITH, PEACE and PROGRESS you see in Yorubaland, you must vote and keep Yorubaleaders in Aso Rock in 2015.
