You are wasting your own time because you fail to acknowledge the calibre of people who come here. Many joined deliberately because of Nairalands reputation as a forum that encourages ethnic rancour. What you are witnessing is happening because it is what majority here, despite their hypocritical noise, are happy with from forum members to mods and even the owner.

Do you think this is the only Nigerian forum in cyberspace? Why are those other forums not hosts to the sort of vile bigots we have here? It is because the voices of decency cowers those of the miscreants - and rightfully so - on those forums. Not so here. Learn to ignore bigots and carefully choose who to respond to. That is the only way to use this forum productively. All this you are doing is akin to finding yourself in a prison filled with hardened killers and then deciding you must teach them ballet by force.

This is more like tying to make fo-oolish bigots feel important.Nobody is making up with anybody,it is either you are a progressive or inherently backward.The only people at war here that are not outrightly against the evil politicians,corruptions and gross moral decadence in the society are the fo-ols that are part of nigerian great plagues,just like the politicians themselves.
