Canonical Ltd, the commercial sponsor of Ubuntu, today announced it has partnered with LynuxTraining Sàrl to develop the first dedicated Ubuntu training courses for the 'Ubuntu Certified Professional' status. UCP is a training certification based on the LPI level 1 certification.

once they finish developing those training courses i won't mind getting certified, sha.

Afo i use kubuntu so i did the download thru Konsole but checked adept all the downloaded file is still there i prefer Synaptic to adept but that is the price i pay for using kubuntu. Any help concerning the broken downloads will be highly welcomed. Cheerio

i just plugged in my mom's mtn sim into my phone and dialled and it connected once no ppp link error but its mtn and i tried my celtel it still gave me ppp link issue o. plz christino don't u have a hack for dis?

Afo i messed
up my installation again this time i finished the download but in the course of installing it gave me the option of keeping the current one or show the different between the two which i choose but tried everything 2 get it back to the main screen and i also tried synaptic but complain that konsole is still using the resources so i had 2 reboot and bang it never start again not even in recovery mode make una helep me o if i can make it boot i will try installing and if not i wil paste u guys the screenshot wit the error msg. Afo where is fisayo. Cheerio

How can i boot into my linux partition again then i will reinstall all the edgy cos its still there cos its gave me 2 recovery mode and ubuntu so what can be done 2 rescue Kubuntu first

the easiest thing to do would be download edgy iso and reinstall but rescue ur important files first

do u have windows cause u'll need a program that allows for reading the linux hard disk. i used that and it worked

Well i just lost my Kubuntu after the overnite browsing and all that. Wat brought
about this is dat i went out and a guy removed
my hard drive and while
tryin 2 use it bleeped wit the whole hardrive and got it corrupt all effort 2 rescue it prove abortive so am formating the disk and i'll be using Suse 9.2 for the time
being i have on one dvd 4 a long time. But love the Kubuntu 6.10 interface cos i use while installing it. Will get you all posted on how is went. Cheerio

Hi everybody have just gotten a blank cd 2 write the SUSE as image file the cd rw i used formally was not good so it has a bug but right now its almost complete and i'll holla you guys on how it all goes and the very one am installing has KDE as its desktop environs so i somehow feel
at home wit Suse. I'll get back 2 installing Kubuntu after fooling wit Suse for a while. Cheerio
