Why ACN, Others Can't Produce President - PDP by Maxymilliano(m): 10:56am On Jan 04, 2013
Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) played down the capacity of the Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) to influence the country’s politics on Thursday, saying neither the party (ACN) nor any of its allies will be able to win the confidence of the electorate to produce a President for the nation.

The PDP said this while reacting to ACN’s earlier comment that PDP was promoting ethnic sentiments in the country.

National Publicity Secretary of the PDP, Olisa Metuh, in a counter statement alleged that ACN and its allies are the ones playing “politics of bitterness, insult and frustration which engender division among the electorate.”

“This is why Nigerians cannot trust the ACN or any other party that associates with it with leadership of Nigeria.

“How can a political party aspiring to the Presidency of the Federal Republic of Nigeria be so consumed with the preaching and sowing the seeds of bitterness and hatred in the minds of the people they want to lead?

“Nigerians are no fools, they are watching with keen interest the seeds of bitterness and hate that the ACN and other political parties are sowing among the populace.

“No right thinking Nigerian will cast his or her vote for such a party that propagates schisms, bitterness among us.

“What we need at this moment of nationhood is unity and brotherliness and not the politics of hate and bitterness,” Metuh said.

He claimed that the PDP as the only national party represents the dreams and aspirations of all Nigerians, advising that they should be wary of political parties that thrive on the gospel of envy, frustration and bitterness, as they (parties) have nothing to show or deliver as dividends of democracy to the electorate.

Metuh said PDP has resolved in 2013 not to engage the ACN or any other opposition party in their “evil politics of propaganda and envy” but concentrate on how to ensure that the dividends of democracy are delivered to the people.

“If PDP continues to concentrate in replying the ACN or any other party in their gospel of blackmail, abuse and hatred, it will distract us as a party in delivering our goals of ensuring democracy dividends to electorate, as well as improving the standard of living of the people, which is the main purpose of PDP as a political party,” Metuh added.

I so much hate the way this man speaks collectively for "Nigerians". Personally I'm not interested in ACN presidency (nor any other party for that matter, all are the same)but I hate PDP with passion. He should speak for the few Nigerians that support them.

PDP as a party has failed Nigerians......

The f00l should either tell GEJ to deliver on his electoral promises or the people will vote him and his party out in 2015...

PDP is a party that thrives on ethnoreligious dichotomy while ensuring ethnoreligious unity in looting!Whoever believes that PDP represent his or her dreams and aspiration is a learner. PDP is the burden of a nation filled with rising insecurity, colossal mismanagement of public fund and crime wave fuelled by poverty!
