Jonathan Administration Is Discriminating Against Yoruba In Government – ARG. by fatdon1(m): 7:55am On Jan 05, 2013 |
The Afenifere Renewal Group (ARG) has called on the Federal Government to stop ethic discrimination, which he claimed had been meted out to the Yoruba race by the Jonathan-led administration. This was made known by the National Chairman of the ARG, Chief Olawale Oshun, while speaking at a recent forum in Lagos to discuss the state of the nation. The ARG scored the current national leadership low on the issues, adding that the situation of the average Nigerian at the end of last year was worse than the beginning. Chief Oshun insisted that the South-West had been short-changed on a number of national projects which included appointments into key positions, including the total number of the Yoruba among the 792 Customs cadets recently inducted in the country. According to him, “The Yoruba demand to know why discrimination against us is on the increase. We note with verifiable evidence at our disposal, that most routine appointments and recruitments into the public service under this administration completely short-change our people,” the ARG chairman said. www.informationng.com/2013/01/jonathan-administration-is-discriminating-against-yoruba-in-government-appointments-arg.html |

We don't care who he appoints where. As long as we have regional autonomy, we are fine. We have a development plan for our region and we don't give a hoot what happens anywhere else as long as it doesn't affect any Yoruba person. We have learned out lessons and will forthwith take our destiny in our own hands |

This man is silly. As much as I'm concern, yoruba don't need to be appointed to into key political position before we can have a developed nation. |

Yorubas held top positions in the last regime,(speakership, board chrm sch. of aviation, chrm NPA e.t.c) was there noticeable diff? In 2011 Obj nominated this lady from Oyo state for speakership, but Tinubu informed the ACN reps not to vote for her. So, why the noise? Just learn to live with it. |
